3G TL Rear Muffler Delete - Where to cut?

So I've read through a bunch of forums/threads as always, watched probably two dozen exhaust videos of different setups, and I think I prefer the rear muffler delete setup the best.

Here's my number 1, 2, & 3 setups:

1) Rear muffler delete w/2.5" pipe (I plan on doing the stock 2.25")

2) (stage 4 exhaust (stock j-pipe, pre-cat, cat, mid muff delete, resonator delete, magnaflow 11365 rear muffs)
(just watch the first minute)

3) (xlr8 base pipe and j-pipe)
(start at 1:10 cuz that's the exhaust)

Also, most importantly right now, I plan on doint #1 tomorrow, the rear muffler delete, because personally I think it sounds best and will sound best (with the 2.25" pipe), but where should I make the cut?

Thanks!

More importantly, can anyone tell me if doing this rear muffler delete will cause any sensors to throw codes?

there are no sensors back at the rear muffler, shouldn't throw a code.

you make the cut with the sawzall right before the muffler, then use 2.25" piping to the stock exhaust tips (cut the exhaust tips off the oem muffler)

Thanks, yeah, that's exactly where I ended up cutting. No codes thrown. However, I measured the piping and it's 1.75" after the Y-pipe split. Finding large/larger exhaust tips with a 1.75" inlet is nigh impossible. I looked Now I'm debating cutting before the split, where it's 2.25", splitting to 2.25" and running that. Thoughts on how that would effect sound? Also, think it would negatively effect performance (being that the back pressure would then lessen)?

my mistake, you're right, the piping gets smaller

an option is to cut before the y pipe, and buy a magnaflow y pipe, then use that larger diameter piping

Meh, the only one I'm digging is the Magnaflow mufflers. That's a sexy sound.

Mid muffler deletes sounded like fart cans, the "quality" mufflers" sound like expensive fart cans.

Believe I'll be searching for Magnaflow 11365...keep stock tips (maybe paint them red ) for the sleeper style. Need a 3" resonator though...pretty sure Magnaflow makes what I seek here too.

this is my bad video because:
1. wind noise
2. the whole place was littered with miniature pebbles or gravel which you can hear hit my car when I try to do a driveby

Sexiness confirmed in first 8 seconds.
Thanks!!

That seagull sound...jealous.

Are those the 11365s? Or another model?

I'll be going 2.25 to 2.5 inches following the 3" resonator outlet (2.25*2=4.5" or 2.5*2=5") because either is greater in sum than the 3"...no need for more.

Looks like 2.25" it is then after the "Y".

Now I fear having trouble finding a 3" in 2.25" dual outlet "Y" merge. Dammit! I guess I could custom a 3" step down to 2.25" inches immediately after the 3" outlets on this one, would seem reasonable since I'm going 2.25" to rear mufflers anyway:

So many options on the 3" resonators...see attached.

Sorry to hijack .
