As long as you cross checked kelly bluebook, nada, and craigslist for local prices you will be near the target. I was scanning CL for couple of weeks to see what they go for. "deleted posts" tell you a lot on how fast they go, and how much.

A little more info: The car has 170k miles, but it also has had the front end of the engine gone through. Timing belt, water pump, plugs, coolant flush, headgasket, front brakes with reconditioned calipers, and the tires should have another year left in them.
It does need a few small bits right off the bat. Needs front wheel bearings on both sides, a right CV joint, and rear brakes. Other than that it is still on the original clutch but it's been with the same owner for the last 150k miles and he did a lot of trips back and forth from Montana to Washington. Realistically I have budgeted for and set money aside to replace the clutch when it goes. Ideally I'd like to see it turn over 200k with it.
The shop I had inspect it (never been there, did it remotely) made some claim about a wear indicator that was a rubber bushing located by the throwing bearing that indicates when the clutch is 10% life. I have found no reference to the existence of this and I talked to a local shop I trusted and they had never heard of any such thing on any car. I test drove it twice and there was no slipping. I bogged it down and floored it (least stressful test I found) and there was zero over-revving. I don't want to start throwing accusations at the shop but it sounds like complete BS from all sources I've checked with.
Anyways, love the car so far. Coming from a 1995 Legacy I'm about doubling up on HP. I had a WRX previously, but this is by far the most refined car I've ever had. Dat torque steer doe.
Also, the clear coat is fine on the hood, that's just ice. The front bumper cover has seen better days and there's a quarter sized dent by the rear left wheel but again no big deal.
I'd edit this in but uhhh...apparently n00bs can't be trusted to do that.

Hey Guys, Just picked up my TL christmas morning, first manual car I've bought, the seller dropped it off at my work and I had to get home, so I taught myself :p
Needs about 1000$ of repairs, then in the summer I'm planning on wrapping it and lowerng it again, and throwing on some new shoes. (vossens maybe?)
abot 3 days after I got it, I hit a chunk of snow that turned out to be ice, and in the brittle -21degree weather, it shattered the corner of my bumper... so I guess I gotta throw on a new lip too...
