Pics of tile? Do it up, man. It just sucks removing the old flooring, but not the end of the world.

I'll have to find it.

Some what like this.... I'm trying to get a frame less shower in my master too.. Plus my wife likes the wall color.... I think that tile would go great. But I already bought some 12x12.. but I could always use it in my laundry room...

I want to go with a bigger baseboard too, my old house was 3 inches I believe. My current house is that standard 1999 baseboard 1-1.5 inch I believe...

I like that color scheme.

I've got this shitty contractor special "gold" accent metal on everything. I want to rip it all out and go with brushed stainless/nickel. But I'm soooooo cheap.

And lazy.

But I do need to replace the shower base and a couple of tiles. And I like what you showed there...

Dammit Kev!

Oh, and I like that shitter/shower setup. So you can push a deuce and still keep an eye on the hooker when she's cleaning up after.

No more making her just keep clapping her hands while she's showering.

Keen!

I have that exact tile in my house, except mine is 12x12. We didn't want to pay the extra money for 12x24- the home builder was gouging on the bigger tiles. It is a nice tile though and we really like it.

However, don't start doing different tiles and shit throughout the house. It'll look like a patch work job if there's no consistency to it. My parents house is like that because they're too cheap to do big renos all at once, and nothing flows when you go from one area to the next. If you like those particular tiles, take a hit and sell the ones you already have on craigslist, or some shit.

Same with baseboards. It's a lot of work to do an entire house, but well worth it. I helped my brother redo all the baseboards, window casings and door frames in his house this past year, but the house looks like it came with the nicer boards right off the bat, rather than doing piecemeal work all over.

You let the hooker shower off? Wow. That's nice of you.

I normally pay them and then drag their khum stained ass out on to the street. Walk home, bish. Use your own shower, bish.

I looked at that tile in 12x12, we wanted that in out bathroom at first but there was a reason why I didn't get it. I just don't remember why. Yea, that is true about different sizes throughout the house. The previous owner spent 40k in my kitchen with granite and custom cabinets, but the tile work was poorly done. I was scrubbing an area of the floor and noticed it doesn't seemed leveled. Then the previous owner left linoleum in the laundry room and the downstairs bathroom. (Even though he upgraded the bathroom) I want to take that out, I'll probably just stick with the 12x12. Baseboards I want to do all at once. It makes a huge difference that's for sure.

Well... I'm about to make this into a weekend.

Be nice to your dogs everybody.

Chew everything thoroughly and drink lots of water.

Don't forget the sunscreen.

Oh, and if you shake more than twice... it's a sin.

Weekend.

I have work tomorrow, duh it's Friday tomorrow. But I was off for the past week, so I shouldn't complain. Did I get any house work done while being off? I put up a clock that was it.

So I am estimating 16 grand to finish the house. Of course I aimed high on the frame-less shower, new fridge and the plantation shutters.

Hey Joe...you'd be surprised what you can do with a little tape and a scuffing pad...that gold accent can likely be scuffed and spray painted nickel, or bronze, or whatever you want. I did all the stuff in my old bathroom and it held up like a champ...the towel rack/tp holder, hand towel holder...and even after years of putting a wet towel on it, the paint didn't come off. Give it a go!

Funny you mention that! A couple days ago I was looking at the shower and noticed the cut edges were showing the silver under the gold anodize. I was thinking about just hitting it with some light sanding and a clear coat. Hadn't thought about applying a new coat of color though.

It'll hold up really well, man...you can doctor up anything...shoot, we had a tub surround that had seen better days...light sand and a coat of maple stain and it looks brand spankin new.

I like to try and make what's there nice, rather than rip out and start over.

no way ese.. maybe a subway, but it's low buy-in and most franchise owners open up multiple stores. McDs and others avg around 200-250k a year and payback the startup loan within the first few years. Apparently if you have a good head on your shoulders and approved by McDs, it's fairly easy to secure a 500-750k loan from da bank.

If you decide to go forward in Ramblings, turn to page 715.

If you pussy out and want to join Chad school of Ebonics 101 for white people, go back to page 706.

If you would rather eat salad, turn to page 1.
