I accidentally left a chinese delivery guy wait 10 minutes outside during winter because the doorbell was broken and when you flipped my ex phone it would put itself on silent.

Almost called back to complain the food was cold.

I didn't think to run Ethernet or coax to bathroom though

Bought a thousand feet of each but still got coax. I don't use much coax because we not a cable family..

Aka Also with Internet, who needs cable?!? I just ran some to the cable modem and one to master bedroom and living just for shits .

Flippy,

The internet speeds will increase in the future, just because you use DSL now, doesn't mean it will be in the future it's all about thinking ahead.

It wasn't so much for himself that he was running coax to the bathroom, but he was selling the house so might as well.

Agree on the internet, wireless everything too.

And fucking DSL, glad it's gone from my life. 2 of the most horrible years of my life being on 10mbps DSL. 5pm to 8pm unusable.

Yea you could just WRT the firmware on the old WRT54Gs and make a $60 router have $600 router options. I thought they've carried that moniker for a long time though.

Doesn't matter much, you're right, ASUS > *

I'm still rocking an old Buffalo N with WRT firmware. Once we get new iPhones and iPads I'll be getting the 68U.

Yeah the WRT1900AC like a year ago. Can't say I've looked into it but apparently it lives up to the hype. However in my mind it's the complete opposite mindset of what the WTR54G was. It's a router with no pretension, a diamond in the rough and was very affordable even at launch. In comparison the WRT1900AC goes for $200+... That's why the WRT54G line was great, you'd get so much for your money.

Yea he's a 3Ger. I'm buying his HFPCs but am waiting on a response from him. Was hoping to have them by the Jersey trip so dude can save my knuckles and install them for me.

Was hoping someone knew him well enough to text!

Edit: Damn people who actually work at their jobs!
