Hey guys looking for a more aggressive/sleek look to my stock '08 TLS front bumper. I want to replace the whole bumper. I'm thinking of going with the A-Spec bumper. Is that even possible? Is the A-Spec bumper just a lip you add to the stock bumper or a whole new bumper itself? Also do you guys have any other suggestions? Thanks!

Aspec is just a lip kit, yes. Type-S one looks aggressive. I'd go aspec > anything, can't go wrong with OE quality stuff

I've always been fan of 04-06 lip, I love the little dark piece in middle, adds nicely to the car

Awesome thanks for the responses everyone. So I can just order the A-Spec front bumper lip and it should fit on my current 2008 Type-S bumper without any modifications?

if you buy a 07-08 Aspec lip then yes, the pics show a KBP with that lip is a custom fit between 04-06 Aspec along with 07-08 bumper.

Do they make this lip in ASM anymore. All the dealer sites ive been to dont list this color.

You need to take off your bumper and drill some holes and apply 3m tape. Just follow the instructions on the install sheet.

So I can't tell if you are actually ordering what You want. Are you going for the look that the Silver TL-S has in the picture posted above? That is the 04-06 lip.

for 07-08, there were two different lips, one for base models and one for the Type S. My car is a TL-S with an 07-08 base aspec lip. Here is one pic, you can check my progress thread for more.

As far as the info I have found since 2007,
There is a MOD needed to do this.
I also have a 2007 TL Type-S with
The Type-S front lip
And would LOVE to have the base front lip.

The ASM Type-S Here has the 04-06 Base front A-Spec lip.
Not the 07-08 Base front A-Spec lip.

@KJ TL-S: I'm going with the 07-08 Type S A-Spec lip as it looks more aggressive which is the look I want with my aggressive wheel/tire setup (235/30/R20, +35mm offset) with upgraded drilled slotted rotors and Brembo's. Look forward to the upgrade and will post pics. I'm thinking of putting in a cold air intake but not sure. Then again I tell myself not to mess with anything under the hood as it is already sport tuned to perform as it is a Type-S. Any thoughts fellow Acuraziners?
