Ah, I see it now. It's hard to tell with the CBP body color, but it is the "concept RLX" rear-design that had the exhaust openings. I like em.

Another silver RLX last week headed south on Warrensville near the Thistledown Racino. Did Acura sell its entire load of RLXs recently here in Cleveland? I'm seeing them everywhere here now.

I get a surprising number of "nice car!" comments when I'm out and about, too. This car really looks better in person than it does in pictures.

Its funny you mention that because I literally saw four over this memorial weekend, with three of those sightings all in one day! Which is extremely rare. Two black, a silver, and a white one. I dont like silver, car looks overly big in silver.

I thought the same thing as you, or that it just happened to be a rare day where I saw three existing local owners out that day.

CBP PAWS on I-480E this evening around 1830. I was two lanes over so couldn't manage a thumb's up.

Good taste, driver....good taste.

Talking +1

I saw another white 1 on the hwy. I noticed that her LED tubing lights in the rear were not on. Are these not always on? Obviously, I do not see the back of my car but I thought that they were always on like daytime running lights ... ?

On a side note: the TLX is popping everywhere.

They are only on when the lights are on.

I saw the white slammed RLX I saw previously. It looks broken that way. What a shame.

I then saw another white RLX who was clearly moving it because he looked to be going at least 40 mph faster than the traffic he was passing.

I got a nod from an older guy like me in a 2013 TL SH-AWD at a light.

Lastly I saw a Spiker on a flatbed. I don't believe I have ever seen one of those in person. It was black but looked like this picture I downloaded off the net:

Wink Another

Saw a Gilded Pewter Advance across the intersection from me. After 2 years, these are definitely becoming more common on the road. I did note that the tail lights were not lit up - shame that these are not always on like DRLs as I think they make the otherwise staid rear stand out.

I see quite a few RLXs around here (Queens, NY) and definitely around where I go to school (Wealthy area called Garden City, NY). I have to say, they always earn a double take because they do have a damn nice presence. There's that "Now there's a luxury car" feeling.

Seen another at the South Point mall last week in Chapel Hill. Was with a friend in his MKZ. Used the snapchat apps camera because it takes the picture quicker than the regular andriod. Sorry about the quality.

I finally got to see one of these things 2 days ago as it drove by BestBuy in the parking lot. I was walking toward Best Buy and saw it parked waiting for pedestrians. I was looking at it saying "what the hell is that, Is that a ILX? It Couldn't be a TLX its doesn't look sporty. But how can that be an ILX it is too big. Then I noticed the small wheels which were the 18" and then waited until it passed by as I continued to look back. Then I finally saw it was an RLX and though to myself. "that is a damn shame I can't even identify my own car." It was the same color etc as mine but must have been a basic model. I sometimes mix up a Lexus GS with an IS. Anyone here guilty of not recognizing their own car kind?

The Morgan Stanley office in Garden City (NY) on Stewart Ave is the 3rd highest grossing MS office in the entire country. Acura and Audi brands seem to be in a sales race in that office! Both Acura and Audi have very strong dealers there. Rallye Acura in Roslyn and Biener Audi in Great Neck. They know how to cater to their target demographic.

Funny too that you see a lot of Nissans in Garden City driveways parked along Mercedes, Teslas, Audis, and Acuras. Garden City Nissan (Hempstead) has done a great job pushing Nissans in GC area. A generation ago that was a Cadillac dealer when Garden City drove Cadillacs in droves.

From far away I used to confuse the 09 TL and TSX all the time (from the front only with that ugly beak).

350 more miles this weekend and no other sightings but one guy took a picture of my car today as he recognized it while we were traveling side by side at 80+ mph on the interstate. Maybe he is a Ziner?

The only reason I'll see an RLX every once in a while is that in my travels I will often drive near enough to an Acura dealer that I'll see somebody driving one.

My own Sport Hybrid is still the only one I've seen moving.

Since getting my car in April, I have not seen one other RLX and I live in the Greater Toronto Area which has a population in excess of 6 million people. That's technically not true though, as I did see one being serviced at the dealer when mine was in.

I had a sighting today though - my wife picked me up from the walk-in clinic and I saw my own RLX drive up. I guess driving it all the time myself, I don't get to see it in motion. Quite sexy I must say

Saw a RLX same color as mine (dark gray) going west on U.S. 64 near Pittsboro, NC today. I was going east. We were closing at an estimated 150 mph and were separated by a 100+ yd median. His/her car sure looked good from that distance and speed.

New to forum.

Was at the dealer the other day, saw a Silver/Black RLX 2014 Sport Hybrid for sale. The car was a demo vehicle. Tough to distinguish from the FWD cars, the wheels looked a bit different, LED fogs looked great, but the real kicker for me was seeing the Sport Hybrid badge.

You should buy it or tell people where it is. :-)

Although it has some miles on it, it is likely enough a good deal to attract people who might want one and haven't been able to do it yet.

I saw a silver RLX in town today. It was an exact duplicate of my vehicle. Nice looking. That's two sightings in 2015.

I saw a black RLX traveling east on TX State Highway 276 this morning. Seeing the RLX is so rare, that you can't help but get excited when you spot one. In my opinion, it makes me appreciate it even more.

On the other hand, I can't seem to drive 2 miles without seeing a BMW or Mercedes somewhere. Those are fine cars in there own right, but it sure would not sit well with me if ever time I looked to my left or right someone else was driving the same car I was.

Black or dark gray RLX heading south on NC 751 between Southpoint Mall and US 64 approximately 4:45 PM today. This is my second RLX sighting in three days.

I forgot to post my latest RLX sighting.

I saw a CBP PAWS RLX on Friday AM as I was exiting I-271 at Cedar/Brainard in Beachwood. We exchanged (knowing) nods. RLXs are out there, at least here in Cleveland! Hopefully he didn't think less of me with my Legend rebadge and sporty wheels.

I saw two PAWS Black RLX back to back that passed me going the opposite direction today! I could not tell the year, but they were definitely PAWS versions running in tandem. They looked sharp.

I have a TLX purchased early this year after having a 2010 RL. 150 miles into a 600 mile road trip I had issues with a tire losing pressure - I re-inflated and confirmed it still going down so pulled into the nearby large town with an Acura dealer - they took to car to fix the tire. While waiting a jokingly asked if they had any RLX-SH's on the lot...and they did - a pretty, white-on-white RLX-SH Advance.

Unfortunately I only had 5 minutes with the sales guy before my wife came out saying our car was ready and we needed to go NOW - she 'knows' me... Ten more minutes and this story might be ending differently.

And no, I didn't mention the 'large town' because we will be passing back through it in a few days....

^^^To use a drug pusher analogy with the Sport Hybrid RLX ... The first drive is free.

If you return to "just test drive it a bit"...bring a check book and prepare to smile a lot.

Sounds like you are gonna join the club! While it's not my money, I would say you MUST buy this car immediately! Must. Please report back on how much you love your purchase. :-)
