RLX Service Manual Online

By no means a replacement for pgeorg! But you can subscribe a year and print the manual. 2014 is the latest year available at this point.

I regularly download the manuals and have them on our Ipad so if the need arises we can bring it up and enlarge the font and answer the questions.
Really a great tool...

Anything on alignment adjustment points and torque specs?

I took my rlx in for a 4 wheel alignment at a neighborhood garage ... they admit they had a jr mechanic do it, I guess that is what you get with the $60 alignment. Anyway, there is a squeal coming from front drivers side when I made tight left turn that I didnt notice before the alignment ... almost like what you hear when its time to replace the brake pads. I saw him hanging off the wrench when tightening everything down and I think the noise is from over torque.

Is anyone else planning to keep their RLX for a long period of time? Long enough to have given some thought as to how often to do fluid and other changes?

I based all my RL maintenance on the minder, and my mechanic had a heart attack when he changed the coolant at 94,000 with the timingbbelt and everything else. Said the coolant was as brown as he'd ever seen it. So I thought I might try more often this time. I kept that one for 11 years,'hoping to do at least as well this time.

If I missed a post about break in, recommended maintenance etc., please just point me to it.

Thank you.

I plan to keep by Sport Hybrid for a long time. I had my 2004 RL for just over 10 years and 125,000 miles. I hope the 2014 RLX-SH has as good a repair record as the RL, although I have experienced some beta testing issues in the 2014. I purchased an extended Acura warranty with the intent to keep the car for 10 years but I will be watching for the 2018 and the expected MMC. My biggest disappointment is the quirky and poorly designed infotainment system. Reliability and engineering is what has keep me with the brand since my first 1984 Legend.

BTW- I have always followed the maintenance minder for timing of regular maintenance and have used my local Acura dealer. So far that has worked well. I do have to keep an eye on the Service Techs who seem to be on a mission to accelerate maintenance time frames to boost their sales record.

I noticed just today that Consumer Reports has the RLX "Above Average" reliability.

The site linked in the original post no longer works...it just returns "There has been a critical error on this website." However, I found https://www.repairmanuals.co/product...instant-access. Curious if anyone has used them before? I'm interested in the service manual for my 2014 RLX.
