AcuraLink (AL) subscription
I had issues with AL on my RLX and TLX for about 2.5 weeks. I asked Acura about compensation/prorating my next subscription. They called me back and offered a $500 VISA card. Good enough for me. For others who have had recent issues with AL call Acura and ask for some form of compensation.

I bought an Acura ILX Tech 2016 and AcuraLink with the free subscription worked fine.
Then the subscription expired before I remembered to start a paid subscription, and the AcuraLink services stopped.
The green AcuraLink LED was no longer lit.
I called AcuraLink Support and signed up for the Connect package, waited for a day or two, but still no services.
The MyAcura web site showed that I did have an active Connect subscription, but the in-car AcuraLink status screen showed no subscription.
I called AcuraLink Support and they had no clue, but they suggested getting the dealer to look at it.
I went to the dealer for service, but they said I should call AcuraLink Support.... the buck stopped nowhere.
Months later I decided to order the 2017 navigation DVD map update, and installed it.
The new maps looked fine, and they included real-time traffic info and construction icons... included with AcuraLink!
I then noticed that the green AcuraLink LED was lit, and the MyAcura web site was able to connect to my car.
Hope this helps anyone else with subscription problems!
