2016 RLX Hybrid Advance price

Those that have purchased the 16 hybrid advance in the last few weeks have had the price in the low $50's. Someone actually had it for $52K.
I wanted to ask what was the mileage on your car when you purchased it.
I have a local dealer who has a hybrid advance with 5000 miles but is asking $54K.

Wutaguy, you may wish to mention to your dealer that NEW Sport Hybrids have been selling in the low 50's and your offer for a USED (albeit lightly) model would start at $48K. Even if you go back and forth and get it for something in the low 50's, that is still a GREAT price for a GREAT car.

This is a good time of year to get a great deal as the dealers want the sales transaction on the books for 2016, so feel free to make lowball offers and walk away when they say no.

Just my two cents.

I bought my Blackbird which is a Tech version, on New Years Eve two years ago for $54,500. I would expect the same car could be purchased for $50,000, maybe a little less. I don't think it is a deflation situation, just a bad marketing campaign and the inventory is simply sitting around collecting dust at the dealers. Very sad. The few warts and niggles have not toned down my enthusiasm for the vehicle. It is a lot of fun to drive. The concept of having two or three cars in one is true. My biggest issue is the lack of a snarly V8 exhaust sound. If the same thrust was accompanied by a different intake and exhaust sound, that would be fantastic. Not in the card for this automobile.

This. Offer $48k, go up from there. You can wait until closer to the end of the month.....RLX Sport Hybrids are not walking off the showroom floor, and it'll likely still be there when you go back.

If you're willing to travel for the car, PM me for the names of some dealers looking to get rid of their models. Highest mileage is 200. Most are less than 50.

Mine had 79 when I drove it away. Had been on the lot for eight months.

OMG. My preferred dealer has a 2016 Sport Hybrid Advance in my top preferred color scheme. I do really like my Sport Hybrid, current electrical gremlin (which is a potential safety issue) notwithstanding, and it would be outstanding with the 360 degree cameras and improved infotainment interface.

What Would Acurazine Do?

Nine payments left on current lease. End of quarter, end of year. Given the low trade value (Black Book says $27.5k )of my current Sport Hybrid just touching 20k miles today, and high residual, I don't think a reasonable trade is realistic, but strange things can happen in December, especially if I stay with the brand? Probably going to sit on my car until three months to lease end, but it may be worth a call to my salesman....

Get your ass down there RIGHT NOW. You can negotiate out of your lease.

Report back with pics or be gone!

I agree with Tampa! If you really like the 2014, you will LOVE the 2016. I am certain you have the skills to negotiate an excellent deal!

You guys are funny. And I DO like my 2014 a great deal.

I will probably make contact next week, or the week after, to make this the prototypical end month-quarter-year deal--again, Sport Hybrids are not racing off the lots. The most significant part of this is the remaining lease payments. I know Acura typically offers to pay the last three payments if one stays with the brand. That leaves six payments that will have to be dealt with. If I can get a $52k deal on the Advance, as others have mentioned, I can still roll in the old payments to a new lease and still pay less than I was before.

My plan was originally to wait for the 2018 RLX to see if anything changed, but I'm not sure I'm comfortable driving a car with the electrical gremlin I've got (sudden power loss in turns) and which is a potential safety issue. I haven't had any problems since I took my car back from the dealer, but I admit a little nervousness. I suppose I can use that to my advantage as I'm negotiating. I'd feel much better, honestly, if the problem cropped up again already so we can know what to fix. In short, I'm done beta-testing and wish to enjoy the completed product.

Is it possible to "extend" your lease, neuronbob?? That is, if you want to see what the 2018 changes are in the RLX, you'd think Acura would re-lease you your current car (at a GREATLY discounted rate since the car you'd be leasing has a black book value of $27K and the depreciation on a three year old car is much less than when new) which would give a chance to see what Acura has planned for the future AND you get to drive a great car that you are very happy with (assuming the current electrical gremlin gets worked out).

Alternatively, if the electrical gremlin resurfaces, I would assume that Acura would have to be VERY generous with any deal they make you for a new car and then you could hold onto that 2016 until news of the 2020 supercar RLX come to light.

Decisions, decisions...

Angry

Use the electrical Gremlin as a bargaining chip. Any mention of compromise to safety should carry some weight with both the dealership and Acura corporate. Being the car you mentioned is the color combination and configuration you desire you should open the dialogue now. At least if another offer comes in your dealer may give you the option to settle or take a pass. Now stop wimping out and get down there tonight. Do not make me burn more satellite time to close this deal!

I'll take a twin-turbo, bespoke V6, eSH-AWD hybrid with 573 hp and a commodious backseat, please. And don't forget USB ports in the rear for my son! LOL.

Hey, a man's gotta dream.

Hey dzionny_dzionassi, $50k for an Advance is a pretty good deal. I hate it that the best deals of the year are off-kilter to my lease origination date.

Yes, but problem is it is 2016 and 2017 will be in month... It is like buying 1 year old car.
I love drive train but not the styling. I guess cannot have it all.

You don't see what it looks like when you're driving it.

I like the styling, myself. It's classic "stealth wealth". Since I have two other cars that attract an immense amount of attention, I like a break from the attention at times.

Is $55,700 a good price for a new 2016 Hybrid SH-AWD Advance?

For an Advance, yes. Had you gotten in on end of year madness, you could probably negotiate lower. Can't hurt to try, but $55k is pretty good from where I stand.
