That fucking grill looks like a big metal shear.

you put anything in there, hit the Acura symbol and it comes down and bites whatever you stick in there in half....

I wanted to show you that the 29mpg average can be improved on. I took two pics to show you I had increased from 36mpg to 37mpg, 2 miles later, after filling up and hitting the highway.

What's crazy is that there are all these car ads stating 32hwy MPG and so on . . . and they are small cars . . . it makes no sense that the auto makers can get better MPG than they do. I used to have a 1987 Chevy Turbo Sprint that I bought to be my commuter and run around car, and it got 37-39MPG in town . . . better than that half car you see driving around. Now I wish I had kept it . . . it was a blast to drive!

my link to go to the last post of a thread doesn't work. Need to figure out that one. I liked being able to click on my link and go right to the end.

This was how I did it...

Guys . . . looking for some feedback on what looks better . . .

I'm having some bodywork to fix some damage to the frontend. While I'm getting it fixed, I'm adding some black diamond mesh grills and clearing the headlights. I'm also looking at removing the fog lights as I don't use them very much, and will put some black diamond mesh in its place and create a air damn for the breaks or ram-air, so what do you think of the 2 looks . . .

All Blacked Out

For the record...I like TC's.

1) Its huge inside
2) Its cheap/reliable
3) sporty
4) Massive Sunroof!

I would SERIOUSLY take one of those over a 4th gen TL anyday.

Congrats Kirk. I promise i'll be the first to buy a plane ticket to come see you. BTW, do they have casinos in Florida?

The Driver's Rdge

So Andy, S2Ks, and any other DFW folks----

Oct 10-11 is TDE at the Cesson-Texas Motorsport Ranch.

I know a group gets a 10% discount, so that is a tank of gas.

Is anyone else going?

Okay guys . . . 3 mods done, 2 to go and I hope to finish installing everything on Friday.

I finished clearing the headlights tonight . . motor mount situation promising . . . grill inserts in progress, but I'm not going to take the fogs out, too much work to make everything nice and functional, but I will be putting the black out grill inserts over them . . . and a performance mod or 2 in progress - it has to do with the throttle body, TCS body and intake . . . should be interesting.

Does anyone know of any other groups I can race with? On TDE's website it's saying you have to have a race suit if you have a roll cage and you also have to drive with an instructor first before allowed to race. I don't have any passenger seats! It was never this complicated back in Cali.

I had another group I could run with, but I forgot their name. It's started with an S, and I believe it had the word "Speed" in it. Anyone know whom I'm talking about?

the push button start still sucks because you have to insert the remote into that slot. That whole technology alone probally adds like $800 or more to the car when while you are inserting the remote in the slot you can just turn it and start the car for free, lol. They need to get whatever technology that lexus has where the car will start with the remote in your pocket, now thats hot.
