They are mostly random but we try to do something at least every couple months.

Is it always at a bar/pub? Not really, usually they are at Trance's house, sometimes at PMPTX's house (1-2 times a year). We've done Dave & Busters a couple times in the past.

It really is up to the folks on this thread to do something. If one of us starts to get bored or lonely then that person will take the initiative to organize something.

If there is something you like to do and you'd like to share then post a suggestion and you'll see a lot of us repsond.

Next organized event is end of September when some of us go down to Austin for a drive in the hill country. We hook up with others from all over the state and Louisiana too.

Got any ideas?

so whoever wants organize D&B or Gameworks ... go for it. Not sure about Gameworks but I think whenever there can be alchohol involved then the turnout can increase.

Officially 100k miles

I reached a major milestone today at ~8:45am across from Cowboy Stadium in Irving. It took me from the first week of Jun 2004 to today, roughly 4 years and 2 months.

I got in my car this morning because I knew it was going to be any day now. So I checked and I had 99,973 miles on the odometer and my commute was 35 miles. I knew roughly where I needed to watch and then I was monitoring it the last 2 miles.

Here's the picture I took, while actually driving so it's a little blurry. You can see the trip meter was at 1.7. I had to find a safe point in traffic to focus on taking the picture. It also had cooled off 2 degrees in ~.3 miles.

That whole car is shit. They went from the best looking sedan, to the absolute worst.

Terrible.....terrible design.No angle looks attractive.
