Everyone is welcome, but keep the mustangs on the straight and narrow. lol I used to work on the ol' Caddy's. Fun cars. Although the STS-V has that nasty Northstar in it still... cool car tho. I like the CTS-V sedan better, minus the bad superchargers lol
whats up guys. just bought a 2005 TSX for a new daily. 1 owner, low miles and dealer maintenance records, 6 spd. nothing too big planned for it, just get it lower to the ground, a nice exhaust and see what happens from there. id be down to meet up sometime with you guys

Took it out and made some noise yesterday.
everyone likes new car pictures right??
2005 TSX, 6 spd, Navi. 109k miles. 1 owner, dealer maintaned. I have all records since the car was bought new, all the way down to new wiper blades. i need to buff the headlights, and the car needs a claybar and wax and buff, but other than a couple small door dings its pretty much mint

Vave adjustment
Doing a valve adjustment this weekend any pointers. I'm a little nervous and anxious to get my baby running right again. I hate the sound it's making at idle right now not as quiet as it used to be.

wow valve adjustment. I remember those days when I would just dive in and do shit like that.
Three Wheelin'
Amazon has iti usually its only 20 bucks. Or you can use a 10mm and a flathead and make sure it dont move when you tighten it lol...but the tool is cheap enough to invest in and it will save you time.

I did my valve adjustment this past summer, took me the whole day only bc I had to pull out my SC as well. I'd get a gauge feeler as well with that valve adjustment tool; the specs on the adjustment should be labled under the hood of the car. "Eric the car guy" gave great information on how to do the adjustment, it wasn't hard at all just tedious. Yeah, change your valve gaskets & spark plug gaskets as well while your doing the valve adjustment, kill 2 birds w/ one stone. If you don't have the tool to remove the spark plug gaskets, you gotta try pry them out carefully; you may have to use some force as well too while inserting the new ones. MOST IMPORTANT NOTE, gotta let the car be cold before doing the valve adjustment or it will mess up the valve lash measurement.

I'm a master mechanic... timing belt job without a lift is a 6 hour job going fast. I don't have 6 hours right now working flip 12 hour shifts all week. ... Im not ripping my dash out right now to redo the harnesses and put new pedals, cluster, ecu, and shifter and cables. plus dropping the subframe to swap it all out. I just spent 4k on headlights and new front bumper so timing belt can wait lol
