Seems to work pretty fast. It fails on the youtube videos though. I tried to play some videos in another thread and the message "Sorry this video is no longer available" came up. I tried the same link in FF and it works perfectly fine. Other than that, it seems to work fine.

^not the browsers fault, it's youtube. Sometimes embedded videos don't work and then you try them again and they do.

OK, I've stopped using Chrome, it has major glitches...

I do a lot of html/script editing on multiple sites, and when you need to insert or type code in between existing text, it visually overwrites the text to your right. Stupid Stupid.

just remember that chrome is just a beta version. Microsoft has been trying to get a handle on IE for years. Every single version has sucked since 95. I can't stand IE7 to be honest.

Are you sure you didn't inadvertently hit the Insert button on your keyboard?

i installed it on my MSI Wind Netbook. With its light memory footprint and all around quickness, i actually enjoy using it more than ff. It works way faster than my virgin FF on my netbook and it also runs better then the plugin infested firefox on my desktop.

Me editing javascript wasn't convincing enough about me being computer literate? lol.. Yes... at first this is what I jumped for, and then I realized the glitch, and I got frustrated.. But I do love Chrome for it's dynamic text boxes...you can expand one as you want...which is cool...

But I'm still back to FF3.

It's opera without the menu bar.

Pretty quick, though.

Gotta love the incognito window.

Google Chrome 2.0 came out a few days ago and I've been playing with it and I like it. Nothing very different than the previous version except it adds support for autofill, full screen mode (f11) and they've made the javescript engine faster. It does seem faster than FF 3 so I've been using it lately and seem to keep coming back. I'm gonna try out Safari 4 again and see how they compare. You can get the new version at google.com/chrome and it's currently still PC only. but for you mac users just download Safari 4 it's very similar.

I was gonna bump this myself. So yeah Google Chrome beta 5 is out it's about 30% faster than before!

As you can see Firefox is a joke, shit even the next version of IE is faster than Firefox now!

also Chrome has a builtin in translator for when you go to those russian porn sites, it will update Flash automatically for you, it will sync your bookmarks, and browser settings and themes between all your machines automatically, it has more support for HTML5 including drag and drop, also it's more secure than FF and it's UI is more response and less intrusive.

I read all this stuff about how fast chrome is and how slow FF is, but the truth is that when I click my Acurazine bookmark in both browsers, the site opens faster with FF every time.

I thought the deal was that FF takes longer to start but runs faster than chrome when browsing. I tried chrome for a while and went back to FF

Me too. I just liked the vid.

The milliseconds difference is not that big of a deal to me. Plus I've grown quite accustomed to all the add-ons I use.
