$400?

That's hardly disposable income. Hell that's a couple weekends out in the city of Chicago. Now if we were talking about the higher models I understand...

I've never pre-ordered or waited in line for an Apple product. I figured I'd treat myself this one time, that's why I got one of the lower end watches since I see myself upgraded in 2 years.

I thought the cheapest was $700 like an idiot.

Opinion doesn't change though.

Anyone else have their Apple Watch yet? Loving it so far, I went with the 38mm Sport...fits perfectly given my small wrists. Learning curve isn't so bad and apps aren't nearly as slow to load as I was expecting based on some of the complaints regarding that matter. Going for a run with it shortly.

Now I would probably want the smaller one too, but isn't that like saying that you got the ladies watch?

Only if buying a white iPhone means you're buying a ladies iPhone.

No care. I'm 5'11", 145 pounds. I'd rather not look like I'm wearing a cellphone on my wrist.

I'm loving my 42mm sport, esp the fitness tracking and notifications right to my wrist. I pull out my phone MUCH less than ever before. I love how I can accomplish small/quick tasks with ease.

Took a couple hours to get used to it, but after I have, this thing is great.

It's mind boggling how light and comfortable this feels on my wrist.

I don't understand those videos, or the videos where they beat the poor thing with a frying pan. Even the drop test videos are irrelevant considering a watch is something that you generally don't have issues with dropping.

The blending videos started off to show how powerful blentec's blenders are.

The videos became viral and they started to blend anything at people's requests, or anything that's trending

Something like that.

I like the blender vids better than the "let's see how far we can drop it before it cracks" or "does it bend" vids.

I like that he is building a blender for the Apple car.

There is no way in hell I would wear something spray painted on my wrist. How could you do such a thing to something engineered so well? Lol

Plus, yellow gold is

I agree with all of this. The learning curve thing is overblown. What isn't overblown, however, is the emphasis on the fact that most of the functionality of the watch is in its infancy.

You get Facebook notifications on your wrist, which is cool, but you don't get to actually read the post yet. Basically the whole thing is to connect the dots.

Because I'm indecisive and irrational, I ordered a 38mm Watch with the classic buckle and sold my 38mm Sport without the band or charger for $400 ($50 profit on the sale, $80 savings on keeping the band and charger). Ordered Friday, arrived today. So I now have the stainless steel watch with two bands. Neat.

Yiss. The 38mm with the modern buckle are (or were) shipping very quickly. People on Macrumors ordered yesterday and are getting them tomorrow.

The estimates are way off. When I ordered it, it said 4-6 weeks, despite being delivered in a matter of days.
