With Russell, McFadden, Asomugha and Heyward-Bey they have potential, albeit unrealized potential.

That's the thing though: The Raiders always seem to have potential, then the man in the '70s jumpsuit screws it up.

QFT. As much as Jerry Jones irritates the frak out of me, Al Davis would be soooo much worse.

Oh, and he works for Al Davis...that would make anybody go crazy (although I heard he is denying punching the assistant)

Still dunno why Reid and McNabb would want Vick on their team. But, hey...if there's two people who could straighten a person, I'd say those two are it since they are pretty upstanding individuals.

TO causes a lot of strife no matter the team he plays for. Happened with the Eagles, happened with the Cowboys. From what I've seen/read both McNabb and Romo are good leaders and decent people, and TO managed to do a great job of alienating himself from both teams.

You know, it's really a shame TO is such an obnoxious asshole. His rampant douchebaggery has completely eclipsed his skill level (which is pretty impressive).

Vick doesn't need to be straightened out. he's going to be a good team mate who shows up everyday on time, play when asked to play, and keep his mouth shut. it's totally different than with TO.

Vick knows that he is so far down the line that if he crosses it, his career is done. TO knows, or thinks, he has leverage b/c of his skill level and he thinks there will always be a dumb team that will sign him as long as he can catch the ball

There is no Vick at Dick's.

A spokesman for Dick's Sporting Goods said yesterday that the chain will not stock Michael Vick's Eagles jersey until company officials "evaluate the reaction of Eagles fans."

Meanwhile, the NFLShop, the league's merchandizing arm, is offering several styles of Vick's gridiron apparel — including a customizable jersey for dogs.

Isn't Kolb hurt? And McNabb has been getting hurt lately. Vick seems to be best on the market.

Really...? Why? Philly plays outdoors and we all know that Vick is horrible when not in the dome...
