But his appeal is likely a trend - Brady has shown the way on how to beat the system (or shown how powerless Goodell really is if you are from NE), and Goodell has invited it by not establishing clear and consistent cause-effect relationships between infractions and punishments.
It's like he has this Mad Max/Thunderdome style wheel he spins to hand out punishments. "Bust a deal and face the wheel!"

Hey! That's not true. There's a large percentage of venom/spew by me directed at the sorry excuse of an NFL franchise known as Da Bears. So, get your maff right.

Though in the first vine clip, it seems like Cooper hit him in the throat. Doesn't excuse tearing off the helmet though.

Oh crap... Pacman better keep that shit in check - he's my secret weapon at DB this year (IDP fantasy league), because he also returns kicks and the new commish upped the value for return yards to 10 yards per point! I can't afford for him to be suspended!
As far as CJ2YPC, he's still available in both of my leagues.

Peyton looked like a train wreck on the first couple of drives (threw his second pick - 6 this season) , but did settle down. Will be interesting to see how he does for the balance of the season. The veteran is still there but some of the polish and shine is looking a little tarnished.

^ He's not starting well, but he's finishing well. Good thing their D is answering the mail.

Peyton's rough starts have a lot more to do with the plays being called than his performance. Kubiak wants him under center but he's clearly not comfortable taking snaps from there with this young OL. The lack of a running game (again due to young OL) sure isn't helping either. Don't even get me started on those bootlegs...they need to abandon them immediately. Manning just isn't fast enough nor does he have enough arm strength to throw without properly setting his feet.
He was at his best running the no huddle from shotgun so I expect to see more of this going forward. They're not going to completely abandon Kubiak's offense because they know that come Dec-Jan they can't sling it around all day. Their whole mindset this year is to take some off the load off Manning's shoulders. Hopefully they can do that by improving the running game to go along with that killer D (the perfect recipe for winning in the cold).
I'm still waiting for some pistol formations because I know they worked on them at OTA's and training camp. I think it's a good middle ground when blending these two very different offenses. It keeps the RB behind the QB but reduces the number of steps Manning must take after the snap (and still allows him to see the defensive alignment pre-snap).
The good news:
1. The Broncos won! *most important in my book
2. The Broncos DST and Demaryius combined for over 30 points
The bad news:
1. CJ got me less than 3 points
2. Kelce had a very average day
Not the best start FF wise for me, but it could've been worse. As mentioned above though Broncos > FF so I'm happy!
Go Broncos!

Insanity finish.
KC must be still -the--ing at what happened...
Good thing it was not the Pats doing this, or we all know they cheated to win.

JC has come out and said the loss is squarely on him. I haven't seen the 2nd fumble up close but you HAVE to protect the ball in the waning minutes of regulation.
