I guess that long without a Super Bowl makes one salty.

I wouldn't know.

Not a terrible half-time show. Enjoying it so far. But, again, Coldplay is a pretty darn good choice.

Didn't care for Beyonce's piece but...not into that style of music.

Some of Beyonce's stuff and some of Bruno's stuff is okay but in general, I agree, not really a fan of either of their music or genres.

What a way to go if this is Peyton's last game.

Congrats to the Broncos. What a defense.

All my patriots friends are pissed. But let's be honest- the broncos got their asses kicked a few years back. Glad they got some redemption, especially this being mannings last season

I'm glad newton lost. He's a GREAT qb... but I think this loss will bring him down to earth. Had he not been so cock, I'd be feeling for him... but no dice.

Dude gave all his critics ammunition for years with that fourth quarter. You can't act like that. Hope Rivera can teach him a thing or two this offseason.

Thought it was hilarious that Ginn would get up and make it a point to show his first downs, but when Sanders did it, the Panthers' secondary got all pissed and ended up with a personal foul.

Gotta say, I've been a Broncos fan since I was a kid (Craig Morton was the QB when I jumped on the bandwagon) and while not the sense of relief that the first win was, it was very satisfying to see the team come in as the consensus underdog and have such a fantastic defensive showing.

BTW, anyone else watch Cam Newton's post-game presser? What a demonstration of petulance and immaturity. Completely unprofessional and lacking graciousness or class. He nuked all the talk this season of his "growth" and new-found "maturity" in about a 3 minute time period.

Thought it was a great win courtesy of the Broncos D - such a lights-out performance. I'm also happy for Peyton to go out on top like that. He's had a legendary career, and he can officially cap it off with another ring and a fist full of records to go with it.

And Cam gave the internet meme material for years to come. Based on his post-game interview he's taking it pretty hard. Will be interesting to see how he responds to it next year.

Wow. never woulda thought..

I thought it would be close but with Carolina winning.

The whole Denver D deserves MVP honors. Peyton sure did go out with a bang, but with any other defense he wouldn't have even made the playoffs. He better buy each of them a TV or watch or something. The defense won the superbowl for Denver, definitely not the offense.

Either way, what a way to go out.

And jeez. Eli is a bitch. Looked pissed as fuck when Denver scored to seal it. lol.

I'm happy for Payton but I'm also happy for Vernon Davis... I've been following him since he was in college (Maryland), when he got drafted to SF, that's when I started rootin' for the 49ers... I'll still be a 49ers fan, but he's finally got a SB ring (even though I don't think he's be a big factor since they picked him up )

I really hope he learns from this game and his post game behavior. Amazingly gifted athlete that we in the Carolinas are cheering for and hope he finds his maturity quickly. There are a lot of good things in him and about him that we get to see in Charlotte, just wish it could be seen across the country by all NFL fans.

Congrats Broncos

Keep pounding Panthers!

What if he's on the other side of that coin now?

Lots of differences, sure, but still, stranger things have happened.

he is young and is very talented... he will have a great career and i can see them having a stellar season again next year... if they make some adjustments, they can easily be SB champs in a year or two...

In the post game interview, Rivera said it best... Denver got beat 2 yrs ago in NY and are now Superbowl champs, there is no reason their franchise can't do the same... i applauded him for that response...
