At the time I was rooting for the Bears. It was right in middle of Brady vs Manning and it infuriates me that he won probably the worst superbowl in the last 2 decades... no offense

Also Smoking Jay will always make me laugh

Talent and football sense are mutually exclusive in this athlete's case. I had thought that if given the proper support around (i.e. O-line) so that he's not running for his life every game would've addressed some of his mistakes. Nope.

You can say the Bears did decently in building up an offensive line to help. And even with a decent RB in Forte, Cutler still was tossing up some bone-headed plays.

Nothing can help him.

Why do you think I post so much about them? I have no issues with ANY of the tags.

Yeah that's what I was referencing. It defies any plausible explanation. Why would anyone lock up a multi-year deal like that with someone so inconsistent.

And oh yeah, the black alternate unis were awful. No theme whatsoever. Leave black unis to teams that have black helmets, or black as part of their normal theme. Saints, Ravens, Falcons - they can pull it off.

So 2 of the top running backs looked stellar.

Murray 9 yards. Peterson 31 yards.

He killed it in the second half. They should have won the game, if not for WR Butterfingers McFuckstick. I'm happy they lost, though.

Philly looked exciting at least, although fantasy value for any of the three RBs looks bleak (and I have Murray). They seemed to rotate each of the three in for 4-6 plays at a time. Talk about committee.....at least I got lucky that Murray was on the field when they were at the goal line and got the TD.

And Julio Jones saved me. Along with Woodhead.

Going to be a busy week on the waiver wire.

Anderson was my first pick. He had a shitty 1st week but I'm not giving up on him. That Ravens D was solid. And his toe 'injury' is nothing.

Ingram did what he needed for me. And in short time Tre Mason will be up and running.

I was debating picking up Sankey but I don't trust him.

New QB, new RB, new secondary.

People always read these contracts at face value, which is not how they are meant to be read.

Make no mistake, that contract is essentially a 3 year, $54 million contract.

Six years or so ago Jay Cutler and Tony Romo were the same player, essentially. In the end, Romo became what most of the league had in mind for Cutler, and then some.
