Interesting stat I saw on Twitter. Everyone is taking about who easy the path has been for Cleveland. This seems to contradict that

Cavs
Rd 1: DET 44-38
Rd 2: ATL 48-34
Rd 3: TOR 56-26

Warriors
Rd 1: HOU 41-41
Rd 2: POR 44-38
Rd 3: OKC 55-27

You can't go off of record because the East is so much softer vs the West pounding each other out. That stat isn't entirely correct in the sense of judging easier path.

We all know that West overall has been stronger than the East for many years now.

But GS just been too dominate in the West and it s just too skewed.

I wish NBA would change the Play off format and i think it will be more interesting.

1st round #1 from the East vs #8 from the West and so on.

This happens in every sport tho. One conference is better than the other 5-8yrs then it flip flops. Im not worried about that at all

Divisions are the same way. Remember when the Seahawks won the NFC west at 7-9, now its probably the toughest in football.

It would be great to see more West and East teams play each other but the timing would likely suck. I don't want to stay up past midnight watching a game in the West if I have work the next day, and you likely wouldn't leave work early to catch the start of a game in the East.

I was hoping we would be able to deliver one loss, now I would be happy if we at least came within 8-10 points. Maybe we'll perform better at home.

I was in Orlando this weekend so missed both Warrior/Thunder and Raptor/Cavs games. Interesting results.

""I didn't see the Dahntay Jones incident, but from what I heard, is he punched him," Green said. "If I come punch you in your head, I probably did that on purpose, because I'm going to intentionally use my arm. I don't think you can ever really compare a leg to an arm."

What a complete dumb shit. Single reason no one wants to see Golden State win & see this guy have another ring.

Good point. Although, that was more like a FG try.

Holy hell OKC last night. Bold prediction says whoever scores 45 points in any quarter this playoffs wins that game.

The Waptors/Cavs series will have a similar plot like how Da Bulls fared against the Heat and Cavs in prior seasons...win a couple games at home but will lose out in 6 or 7.

So soorree, Toronnah.

I'm actually surprised that the raptors have made a comeback. I thought Cleveland was going to sweep them 4-0.

As much as I don't want to, I will have to agree with you- I still don't see them coming out on top in this series.

Here's to hoping I'm wrong!

Their Ego got to their heads IMO. They should have just rested key players after clinching home court but no... they just had to put all that effort into beating The Bulls record, half the team got cocky as fuck Now they're in a hole against a team that apparently has them figured out

I'd love to know what Billy Donovan has done to this team to improve them. I know last year was an aberration because of the KD injury but not even when they made the Finals do the Thunder seem like the scariest team in the league.

Here is what I've noticed.

Full team play, and mostly on defense. On defense, all 5 guys are helping close gaps, make good switches, and block out. On offense, they obviously have two superstars that draw a lot of attention, but the other three are moving to get open, and making shots when they do get the pass. I didn't watch the second quarter last night, but the second half was a great example of 5 guys working together.

Scoring. They are averaging 108 points per game in these playoffs. If you take out their three lowest scoring games, it goes up to 112. Only the Spurs, the best defense in the league, held them close to 100, but they didn't have the offense to keep up with that. If you can score 110 points per game and play decent defense, teams are going to have a hard time keeping up.

I think breaking the Bulls record, took out more energy than they realize. Plus they have had it easy in the playoffs. Even last year, they had easiest route with only LeBron as their biggest threat, but even the Cavs weren't at full strength.

Well, I think also...the issues that didn't really present itself last season and most of this season (based on the Warriors are built) are now showing themselves in this match-up against OKC.

We all pretty much wondered how a smaller team like the Warriors would fare when their shooting goes dry. And well, without the power of the 3 like they are used to, the Thunder are exposing the flaws/vulnerabilities of GS.

Personally, I'm shocked. I had pegged the Warriors to repeat because for so long, that ability to score from so far out was unstoppable.

The Thunder played the Warriors tough during the season led in the 4th quarter all 3 games but ended up coming up short in all of them. OKC made the necessary adjustments after playing them 3 times and they have the formula as well as the personnel to beat the Warriors. I knew when the Warriors were playing the Blazers if the Blazers could come that close to winning games a better team would handle the Warriors and OKC is definitely that better team.
