Did Brock Lesnar give the double 1-fingered salute to the crowd at The Bay...?

Um...wow, classy guy.

Lesnar beat the shit outta Mir; knew it would happen. lol.

Btw classy man... I loved his speech at the end: "I'm going to go drink a coors light, not a bud light because they don't pay me. Then I'm going to go get on top of my wife"

As happy as I am that Henderson knocked the fuck out of Bisping, I think the second shot he gave him when he was on the ground was a little uncalled for. I mean it was obvious that Bisping was not moving and Henderson just put his entire weight into that second punch... I dunno how Bisping is still alive after that.

Concerning Lesnar, I've hated him since the WWF days, he's a piece of shit. He has no MMA skills whatsoever, he's just a massive fuck who can overpower everybody; which is exactly what he did to Mir. The guy has absolutely no class whatsoever. after that post interview I have 0 respect for the guy.

I like Mir a lot and have way more respect for him now for being the "bigger" man and staying classy and respectful when Joe Rogan was interviewing him.

Dana White needs to find someone to come in and completely destroy Lesnar.

Dana White during the post fight press conference:

"This whole Fedor thing that has been going on and on and on and on, I keep saying this and that about him, and he keeps waiting. Eventually Fedor's going to be here. I want Fedor. I want him to come to the UFC . . . and we'll end up getting that deal done, and we'll have Brock vs. Fedor and it'll be a huge fight."

Any time frame?

"He's obviously contractually obligated to fight [with Affliction]," White added. "Once that's over, we'll figure it out."

Realistically speaking, Brock's next opponent will most likely be the winner of the Carwin/Valesquez fight at UFC 104. I think Carwin matches up to Brock better than Valesquez does, but I don't see either guy beating him.

Haven't they been trying to get Fedor for a while now tho? Something about the UFC not allowing him to do other things that he wants to do or whatever?

I don't think another wrestler is what is needed to beat Brock. What's needed is a solid striker with great takedown defense. Wish OWGP Crocop was around... he would have got the job done.

That was the fight on the undercard that I most wanted to see. I don't think it'd kill them to replay those fights at the end of the broadcast, especially given the fact that they are charging $55 for the PPV.

@ the Bud Light sitting there

It's obvious what happened even before he stated it in that press conference. Cut the crap or we'll cut your paycheck. I'm still not a fan of Mir or Lesnar but he sure as hell gave him an ass beating.

Apparently your reading comprehension skills are as good as your ability to prove your false claims of how beastly of a man at 130 pounds you are... "Wish OWGP CroCop was around... he WOULD have got the job done"

Now go back to trolling threads on bodybuilding.com saying you deadlifted a Buick but won't prove it.

I saw that coming.

I missed after the 3rd of GSP, what happened?

I can't stand Lesnar's BS. I don't know if he's trying to go WWE in UFC being the bad guy rather than a normal athlete with short, telegraphed answers like other major sports. He never shakes hands neither right?

GSP really impressed me. It was good to see him throwing the elbows like the old days. I remember he used to destroy people with the elbows.

I am so glad he shut his mouth.

What I want to know is what fights put so much blood in the ring? The floor looked like they had slaughtered a pig in there before the first fight was even shown.

And Lesnar is a total douche They don't need a wrestling sideshow to go along with the fights. If he wants to be a clown, let him join the circus.

Overall i thought UFC 100 was "meh". Best fight was prolly the first televised fight with the japanese fighter. Stoked Bisping got knocked out that cocky manchester f-ck. Even though GSP went the distance, I didn't find that bout particularly interesting or enthralling. Just repeated 1 and 2 leg takedowns of Alves. Lesnar is a total douche, UFC does not equal WWE, he acted in a classless manner postfight although the line involving his wife was hilarious.

I love GSP's trainer.

GSP= "I pulled my groin"
Trainer= "I don't care. Hit him with your groin." Seriously WTF?!?!

I don't follow UFC regularly at all...so, question: What happened to old marquee names like Liddell, Shamrock, Ortiz...? Are they retired...?

Fighters who weren't one trick ponies beat them & they aged. I don't believe any of them have officially "retired" but don't expect them to reach the top of their divisions again.

Ever since the Iceman was on the receiving end of that 1st round knockout by Rampage he's been a hasbeen with a glass jaw. Ortiz just looks like a former shell of himself during his last bout and it's almost sad to watch him on the 3rd or 4th undercard when he once was the face of the UFC.

Question again from a very casual spectator of this sport...why is that? As a martial artist, they aren't able to sustain their skills/technique even with age? I'm not saying they fight into their 50s...

I think a lot of it is mental. To excel at MMA requires an enormous amount of mental discipline and confidence. Like GSP for example, he competes with surgical precision. His ability to recover after Serra's KO was indicative of his mental fortitude. Some fighters don't have it. Look how Rampage went all nuts after his stunning upset to Griffin. Evading police and driving on the sidewalk. He's coming back though and will probably get a shot at Lyoto sometime within the next year.

Some fighters get beaten so badly they lose that confidence to be at the top. That plus declining physical skills. But, I don't put all of it on physical wear and tear. Look how good 39 y/o Henderson was against 30 y/o Bisping.

Dang overhead right from Hendo. Didn't Bisping do his homework? That's his signature punch.

It wasn't posted here but Dana ripped into Brock after the fight and Brock apologized and did the conference call with a Bud Light.

I would guess that you just can't train at 40 the way you can at 25. There are a very few exceptions to this rule, but pretty much after 35 things start falling apart.

I believe it has a lot to do with how level the playing field is as well as the mental piece.

100% of the fighters can end an opponent with a minor slip up. I have seen fighters knocked out because they slipped for a fraction of a second on the mat or just a lucky punch (not henderson but more the Sierra GSP fight).

I can't tell you how many times I was sure enough to bet a fight and it goes the opposite direction.... stupid GSP this weekend.

Where would you guys say Rich Franklin is in his career right now?

Just curious because he's a local guy, but I haven't been able to keep up with him or UFC like I would like to.

Gatekeeper/Contender... He'll never be a champion while the two brazilians hold the LHW and MW belts.

I see him as a stage fighter. What I mean by that is between his rematchs and him fighting a guy trying to make his name we will still see him alot but with no belt chances coming.

He still not the same after Anderson Silva relocated his nose under his eyeball.

i heard that anderson silva is now training with rich franklin?? and did anyone else see the post conference when GSP spoke? when they talked about him possibly moving up to the 185 class?? if he chooses to, that would be the ultimate fight in my opinion!! (GSP vs. anderson silva)

WTF!?!?! GSP move up weight? That's kind of crazy. He did have a huge reach advantage on Alves. Is he tall or just have freakishly long limbs? Can he fill that weight good?

The sport is extremely injury prone. It puts an assload of stress on your body, joints, etc and after a solid KO - fighters NEVER come back the same.

Never knew that...a KO is a temporary thing I always thought.

And again, I know it's been debated to death and discussed before, but I still will never quite fully "GET" why a martial artist (i.e. Bruce Lee) would lose to someone from the MMA. I suppose being limited to the confines of the octagon plays a role to that...

Kinda reminds me of Mark Coleman back in the day, he was alot bigger and basically used that to ground/pound everyone. I thought the days of that working were gone but it seems to have worked again.

You say that like you don't believe people in the MMA are martial artists.
