15 bowl games have been added since the year 2000 for a total of 40 games

Yeah noticed that too. Almost makes them not special anymore. I think we should go back to only 25 of them.

When you have teams like Nebraska in a bowl game with a losing record it is a bit crazy.

I agree. A 6-6 record isn't anything special. A winning record is the only way any team should be allowed a bowl bid. And that should determine the amount of bowl games.

Well, shit. Hubenak looked okay. I can't fault a guy who starts his first game in a bowl. The defense looked like the whole first half, but that's nothing new. The O-line looked like too. All the credit goes to Louisville D-line and QB.

Whether Sumlin is the coach next year, I don't think I really care. All I care is that Spavital isn't our OC.



Really sucks that the SEC's only post-season blemish may come at our expense.

Hubenak has his good and bad plays. Saw several overthrown balls that coulda been touchdowns, but also a couple bad drops by the WRs. O-Line was horrible. Defense couldn't do shit to stop their QB... 200+ yards rushing. Atrocious.

I am surprised it was so close (score-wise), by watching it it looked like we should have lost by 4 TDs..

And Bertolet.. don't get me started...

Ouch. Didn't realize that was a matchup. I would put my money on Michigan. Florida isn't special; the SEC Easy was just plain bad this year.

Clemson was surprising tonight. They look really good. Alabama is everything I thought they were. Should be a good championship game.

I was seriously torn on this one, but it was ultimately a win-win. On one hand, Clemson could win, all the whiny bitches from Alabama would come out from the woodworks (Saban included), and we could all laugh at their demise. On the other, the nation can get a feel for what SEC West football is (and really has been).

7/8 bowl games won with my team being the only loser. Playing in this league is like none other, and yet, the polls would never lead you to believe that.
