Well i got my kit and i have to say that i am disappointed the box has a hole in it about a foot and half round due to poor packaging skills...Professionally Packaged by a three year old...They put all the pieces in there with a couple pieces of cardboard thinking that will protect it..
But i have not had a chance to examine everything but i did notice a couple brush marks that will hopefully buff out but i should not have to do this since it is brand new hopefully that is the worst of it...Hopefully everyone else has better luck..

If you just called up and tell them your story they will be glad to help. It will get fixed if its bad and like OP said, you paid for new and you should get new.

I sent it all the information and this is why I sent it in earlier because I knew it would take a while and you will receive an invoice. Sorry for the inconvenience but you will all receive an invoice shortly. It just so happens that he had some time the day I sent them in for the first few people on the list.

Ok I'm new to the whole a spec stuff. I just got my tl which I LOVE but I like the look of the type s with a spec lip. will that work on my 04 base model? And I just want the front and rear don't care about the skirts really unless it will look uneven or if the price to the front and rear is close to the whole kit. I see you have the gb going and that's awesome I just don't have 700 bucks lying around ya know so I may have to piece it thanks

So I was REALLY excited this am when before 7 as Im on my way to the gym before work I see a FEDEX truck in front of my house!!! I sign for my kit and put it in the garage. Instead of going to work I drive home as I cant resist the temptation to see if everything arrived in good shape. I have to say Curry does a great job packaging...not a scratch on anything! So I look at my front underspoiler and it seems to have a foglight housing...I unwrap it and sure enough its the Type-S (I had ordered the base front). I wasn't mad though...I put the foam that the piece came wrapped in on my driveway and propped it up with some boxes to do a test fit on my car...I LIKE IT!!!
I know Curry is good with returns, but now I'm not sure I want to return it??
What do you guys think? This way is easier for me too...I annoyingly feel like my wife when she doesn't know what outfit to wear when we go out...
Bruce - please check and make sure that this doesnt happen to deveinon10 too...he might not have such a change of heart.

TL Fiend thx homie. As for Big thx homie, return it and go for base front 100%. That's just my opinion i mean if that's what u ordered in the first place it was for a reason but hey if u like it good luck and dont forget to put up before and after pics. Thx again.

My car at the moment is bone stock, no one modification has been done. as soon as I get this kit and have a free day I will be putting on....
lip kit
rims
tires
exhaust
window visors
tints
springs
tail lights
and lip spoiler.
im just waiting on this lip kit to come in.

Well some compund took the swirls out and i got the kit put on looks a million times better.... Also Big..... stick wit the base front looks better in my opinion but it is your car so good luck wit that..

^it's probably because they only had to go through about two fedex warehouses to get to maryland and they had to go through more fedex locations to get to texas :/ I know a lot of people who work at fedex and I can tell you some horrible stories of broken items (busted LCD TVs, broken laptops, etc.) just because the box carriers aren't really penalized for breaking stuff. i'm all the way in california... wonder how my box is going to look by the time it gets here

^yeah i had considered the same thing. mine only took like a day to get to me. i think i was the first one to get it out of the list.
BUT, the kit was packaged well on my end. so even if the box had been damaged, the prize inside should still be just fine.

Box was pretty beat up but everything was wrapped up pretty well inside. Side under spoilers and rear under spoiler look great but the front under spoiler does not. It has a small scratch so deep that I can see the plastic.. So I'll be calling the Parts department first thing tomorrow and they'll have to ship me a new one. I'm totally bummed but still thankful that AckTL05 has been so helpful and shared such a good deal.

Fed Ex decided to not ship me my kit today, but instead wait till tomorrow (even though tracking didn't reflect that until after I called them) Just sucks I took a day off work in order to sign for it.
Oh well, just hope it isn't damaged.

Just finished the install!!! box was beaten up pretty badly but everything was wrapped really well. Instructions were a bit confusing at times but all worked out well. Love the way it looks! Matches Perfect!! Thanks to Curry Acura for everything
