Thanks Jerry, just ordered driver seat replacement. (The sweetest lady took my order) You called while I was on the phone with her so worked out well. Photos of my horrible drivers seat are a few posts up. Will post pics of my new seat once I get it done.

Follow-up
I goofed on my order and purchased the wrong color, tried to do so without getting the color swatch to compare. I got a light gray, should have been the dark gray. So I haven't installed mine yet. Taking it to a local company this weekend to see if they can darken it for me before I install it.

to whoever may be interested, I contacted Jerry at Auto Custom Leather for replacement leather on my 2008 Acura TL Type S with taupe color. Jerry knew the variations in the seats for that model year and directed me to the correct application. I bought both front seats leather for my car.
The products arrived promptly,payment by cc no issue. When I took the new leather to a seat shop near me in GA the installer took one look at the new covers and said this is top quality product with a perfect color match. The new seats look and feel like brand new, not bad for a car with 300k on the odometer. If you're thinking about Auto Custom Leather be assured it's a first class place to do business.
