Plasti Dip in Arizona?

So has anyone here used Plasti Dip on their cars? If so, how’s it coming along? Interested in using the product, just worried about longevity.

worried about longevity on a product that is meant to be ripped off??????
and the spray cans are fairly inexpensive, fyi.

throw all your worries out the door and just do whatever you're planning to do.

Haha! Yeah, I wanted to do the emblems and minor things along those lines. Just don't wanna worry about it for a while...

^you're good!

it takes a little bit of learning to figure out the spray pattern, but once you understand how the plastidip layers, you'll be golden!

as long as no one messes with the plastidipped emblems, it wont ever come off.
it might lose its sheen or luster, but a little wipe with a "back to black" trim product will recover its true color.

since the cans are so cheap, might as well pick up some and try it out!!

Is this . . .
http://www.plastidip.com/home_solutions/Plasti_Dip
the product that you are all talking about?

I've dipped things like the handles of pliers and hedge trimmers in Plasti Dip but I'm not making an immediate connection with what you would coat the car's logo with the stuff for? Could somebody here give me a hint?

I have the matte finish dip as diffusers for my turn signals. Tough stuff. Just don't go black out crazy on your car and make it ghetto!

So nobody here has ever had their Acura wrapped? I've pretty much decided to go that way instead of paint. There are guys here in Az that are virtual wizards with the stuff and I had no idea there were so many startling colors. I've settled on satin finish, pearlescent white.

Some guys have. I was planning to. My front bumper is wrapped. It a little pricey. I'd rather buy hardware for that price right now. Eventually though Satin red is where I'd want to go.

Ok soni know this is kind of an old thread. ..ive plasti dip one of my cars and I used the spray can type....end results was amazing. ..held tough thru car washes and daily drives of course the one that cames in the gallon I better if used with a spray gun....only main reason I chose plasti dip was because the paint on the car was horrible so this was a cheap alternative way to make the car look decent

Plastidip works well on emblems and window trim. Wheels is a tougher job. Powder coat is a better option for them.
