New 2nd GEN TL owner LF people in Vegas

Hello everyone I am new to the acurazine forums and I have become a regular snooper this is my first post I just recently fell in love with a 1999 Acura TL I found down here and had to buy it. And I love it it needs a few things done to it that's for sure I know it needs a new timing belt and front what I have read might as well do the water pump as well power steering seems to moan on cold starts especially when its cold and I have the wheel turned all the way and it has 140k miles on it and the guy used it as his daily driver car to work so it hasn't been taken care of the way I would have not necessarily bad care but he just didn't show it the love it deserves lol my goal is to restore it the best I possibly can but that isn't why I'm making this post I am here because I moved to Las Vegas from Washington state about 6 months ago and have no friends living down here and I'm really wanting to find someone that can help me learn about these cars inside and out I have constantly been on these forums lately and searching and taking notes however I am really a hands on learner in general I need to be able to picture it I'm not a complete idiot with cars I've been around them and understand it just never done anything other then small stuff like intakes and stuff and looking to learn more so I'm looking for people in Vegas who happen to know of any meets going on soon that I can come to... And I'm also looking for someone maybe you know someone who can help me out with this stuff on my car maybe let me watch and learn some f this stuff or maybe you know someone who will do the timing belt and water pump for me or something I expect to pay for the parts and labor I just really refuse the dealership price of 900 bucks for a timing belt and water pump... Anyways thanks for any replies/advice in advance I look forward to becoming a part of the Las Vegas/Acurazine community!

I got a 1999 Acura 3.2TL. I have a lot of plans for it now that I plan to keep it it has low miles and has a little front end damage that needs corrected but I got it for a cheap price so im just gonna do a 2002 front end conversion. Should be a fun project

Congrats on the 2G, I loved that car. The only problem I had was the trans and Acura covered that free of charge considering the recall. I had a 99' and my wife said my car drove better than her 06 Altima. Great car enjoy it!

Thanks guys, yeah honestly I owned a lot of cars in my day, and when I had this money I had absolutely no intention of buying this car I ran into one that needed some work and drove it and everything and I fell in love, now it's just a matter of time and hard work but I own the car and I love the car so I intend to keep it around.

Yeah. I've got a few minor things to fix on mine as well. Made a project list that now seems it has more items than originally planned.
