Thanks Ben. Usually I build things one at a time but recently I've been building 3 or 4 of one model at the same time. I'm trying to be prepared for whatever the customers decide to buy.

Thanks Morgan. He wrote back and said his budget was $300 but I really don't think that will be enough for what it will take to get it built. I told him maybe I could build the house in three sections and you can buy one at a time.
Hope everyone's thanksgiving was good. I just got back to Charlotte about an hour ago. Decided to drive back after 9pm like I usually do. Google maps traffic looked like a bloodbath earlier today on all of the interstates. It was the ugliest I have ever seen it.
Jeremy let me drive his Porsche and he took me down a curvy road and I held onto the oh shit handle very tightly haha.
I've never had to travel for Thanksgiving before so this weekend sucked traffic wise. It took us nearly 4 hours to get to Raleigh on Wednesday afternoon and nearly 3.5 hours to come back yesterday. Not fun. Why the hell isn't 85 at least 6 lanes at all times? Going from 10 lanes to 4 to 8 to 4 is really fucking annoying.

It's the 12 mile section that is still 2 lanes each way in Cabarrus county that is causing the problem. It's in the plan to be completed by 2017 if I remember correctly. We would have had the same problem if it wasn't for my anti traffic attitude that led me down a series of roads to avoid the plague. I wasn't even looking at the map and somehow chose the perfect route through concord/Kannapolis and shot out on 29 where it hits the 4 lane section in Salisbury.
Hope everyone had a great weekend. The TL went out on thanksgiving, and back to the garage after that, drove my girls car mostly.
Had some fun in my girls Lexus on 85 near Gastonia. In and out of traffic like a boss dodging some weary holiday travelers on their way home. Also watched a lot of TV this weekend, free showtime ,hbo, and movie channels for the holiday weekend.
I'm still in NY. I left VA Thursday around noon, and got to NY just before 6 - its usually a 5.5hr drive for me so it wasn't too bad. I'm hanging out until tomorrow morning, hoping that I miss most of the traffic on the way back home.
OK so Taco Macs, University or South Park Location, Friday Night at 7pm. All of us, wings, beer, etc.
Does anyone have any objections or adjustments to night of the week?

Personally, I would prefer Saturday night to meet up. Being at work all day Friday then driving home just to change and then drive back Uptown wouldn't be enjoyable.
I think a whole new batch of traffic will be joining 77 north right where the new section of 485 will hit. 4 lanes of moar cars will be convening down on what's already there...essentially 8 into 2.

Why would you need to change? If you're that much of a girl, just take a change with you to work and change before you leave.
And there's no TMac uptown.

Traffic in Charlotte is going to be a problem forever. It doesn't matter how many lanes they have. Charlotte is an automotive/racing hub. And it is constantly growing.

Thanksgiving was good except the fact that my car broke down on me on the way to chicago. Once was around 11 at night near asheville with what is believed to be wheel speed sensors and abs solenoid for all 4 wheels. And in Indiana around 7 am i hit a pot hole and my koni went through the lower strut fork and broke the shim to hold it in place. Had to get it towed and was only 40 miles from home.
