If you're coming from a less sporty car, the TL will blow you away with how fast you can take freeway onramps and feel completely and utterly in control, without squeal or lean. My wife can't help but remark how much harder I can corner in the car without her feeling like "holy cr*p!!." Of course, I don't do it often (I like to think of myself as as responsible guy), but it's nice to know how high the capabilities are.

In my opinion, this is hand-down the best reliable daily driver sport sedan you can buy for the money. As long as you love the looks (which I do, and I really couldn't care less what the detractors have to say), you'll be very happy.
did you not get the stock mich pilots or replace already with something better? I can squeal mine real easily. The oem tires are just awful for even 5/10 for me. Sort of reminds me of how my civic used to drive before getting some nice hi-perf a/s.

I do still have my stock Michelin Pilot MXM4's. When they were new, I thought the traction was pretty good, but 13k miles into my ownership, they have definitely begun to squeal more easily. Can't take corners with the same speed, but the feeling of control is still there.

i have maybe 3k on mine? I know these aren't PS2's but considering they are definitely past break-in and have plenty of life I expected a bit more grip.

Guys I just got back from the dealership. The bulb is out on the passenger side heat switch. I went and bought the switch last week. After learning that it's covered under warranty I figure it's safer if Acura fixes this as I do not want to break the silver side pieces.

Anyways while I'm at the parts counter the girls runs my vin and prints out an inquiry acknowledgment for me. Listed are two repairs prior to me owning the car. The first failed part was the ECU and it was replaced with 25,904 miles. The second was what I keep hearing with Awd owners, the torque converter. It was replaced at 26,415 miles. Should I be concerned any further with either one?

Wassup TC... congrats on the beautiful ride! I'm not far from you, in Asheville NC. I'm shopping for an underbody kit for mine at the moment. I've had my car for two and a half years now with no issues... you'll be fine, and if you're not, just trade the thing in for another!

What's up Zutt! Thank you. This car was actually in Asheville for sale at Jim Barkley. I love it so far. Yeah I think I'm going to do the whole underbody kit sometime down the road.

Jim Barkley generally sells good quality cars; I'm ready to pull the trigger on the kit, waiting on "thepartsguy" to provide me with a respectable price, then graphite rims soon after.
