Talking Brief I4 Drive

I'll keep this quick, but a little bit about what I look for in a car. My first car was a 94 Accord EX-L. It was a fantastic car in steering, suspension, power delivery etc. They really don't make cars like that anymore, and I accept that they CANNOT make them like that anymore due to safety regulations.

The TLX was the only car I have driven in quite a while to capture a great deal of the spirit of that 94 Accord I had. It was effortless, the steering had a great weight, and the suspension was somehow sporty and yet less bumpy than my TSX at the same time.

The biggest thing for me was how different the 8DCT felt. Shifts were literally instant. I knew it was shifting but there was no lurch or roughness as I am so used to on my previous 4spd Hondas and now 5spd Acura.

Honda and Acura have had a real "malaise" era for the past few years. I have been sticking with them through this period, but I was getting ready to give up and jump ship to Lexus. The TLX gives back some of the hope and excitement I used to have for the Acura brand and that is fantastic.

Booo hooo.....I have to wait till the spring (lol) Actually, I don't HAVE to but know that it is the most wise decision financially, so 8 months of no car payments and the car would have been parked from Nov-Mar anyway.
