Linear Pressure Solenoid Gasket PLZ HELP

okay I have never been a gasket kind of guy I finally mastered the oil pan but this stupid solenoid on the top of my bell housing is killing me.

Its the dual pressure solenoid on top underneath the manifold
I've replaced 2 gaskets and for some reason it is still leaking bad. The first I'm sure I crushed the gasket the second one I researched and downloaded my manual and it states 8.7ftlbs of torque so I tightened this time enough to get it locked down AND I used high temp gasket silicone 👎👎👎 maybe I overtightened again my torque wrench will not register that low

Has anybody else dealt with this? I heard it is VERY common on these garbage trannys

PLEASE someone help if you can I don't know what to do 😖😖😖

It must be in a bind, make sure its completely seated.
No need for silicone on the gasket.
This is the paper gasket right? there are o-rings I believe 3, that must be installed correctly with the pins.

Okay so I ordered 2 more gaskets just in case and I'll grab some more o rings but my question is how the hell do I know what 9ftlbs of torque is 😖lol any advice on tightening? And pattern for tightening too?

Make sure that both mating surfaces are cleaned well of all residue and oil. Then check closely for any imperfections. What pattern did ya use last time when tightening the screws ? Snugging it up and gradually torqueing alternating corners should suffice. Be careful not to kill any one of the mounting holes.

Buy a torque wrench. You can get a decent inexpensive 3/8 drive torque wrench at harbor freight.

Okay so I received my gaskets and got a inchlb torque wrench converted to 107 inlbs of torque and I am STILL seeping through.... Wtffff . any ideas why this could happen even though its all to factory specs? I seated the solenoid slowly and surely torqued in pattern and used no silicone just the gasket ....
