The black one looks lowered but I think it's just the quality of the picture in the dark areas and the 30 sidewall profile. 235/35/19 >>>
Ron, what is the weight of the 18x8?

Damn Rondy!! The black looks sick!! I'm definitely gonna have to hit you up soon. Maybe take a ride over to the warehouse. Those wheels would look great on my white ILX with the underbody kit. So glad I got it with the kit.

18" is only 22.5 lbs each, not bad compared to the factory wheels.
Here's a directory to compare weights of stock Accord wheels / tires, among other setups, all on the same scale:

The only reason I got the kit was because my girlfriend works at the dealer and I got it for super cheap.

The spoiler is a MUST.. I want one soon as well.. I actually almost ordered it today! haha
Cool thing is Speed if you get your S/C out of the way you'll love the car so much more and the biggest purchase will be DONE.. so all the little additions to what you love wont be a big deal. (thats how I am looking at it at least)

Thanks, Ron.. I was trying to find it EVERYWHERE lol I was under the impression they were heavier.. Looks like I'll be hitting you up soon after some other additions I plan to make. These wheels look ridiculously sharp on the ILX. Good job.

Glad we're agreed! We need to get your build thread moving. I'll be ordering the intake once Aaron confirms fitment, so then you'll have to order yours.

The black car is lowered on Photoshop, lol. It was bad with the smaller tires and stock suspension.

The white car has an aggressive yet proportional 245/30/19 tire, and stock height.

I need pics of the ILX, it is really gaining steam!

I am just glad you guys aren't the typical *wtf would you do that to your car for* types haha.. I NEED to know how much the CTSC will be.. Once I get a price on that its no holds barred on the rest of the stuff I want and it will MOVE!

Thanks for the clarification, that black one really just helped Acura's accessory sales cause eventually I am going to get that kit.. Completely convinced me.

I want some wheels but I'd have to lower my car before I got them. The 18s will probably be more up my alley. These wheels just look so sharp, I was planning on buying them for my TSX before the ILX was bought.. Back on the RJ bandwagon.

Gawwwd that black ilx is nice! Body kit makes a bigger difference than I thought. But 19s with slightly more aggressive offset and slightly bigger sidewall will look perfect with a drop. Summer can't come quick enough!

Yeah, the offset is perfect with the 245/30/19, but with 225 tires, there seems to be more room. Maybe +40 offset would be more aggressive with 225/35/19 tires

We will have a 1/2 off shipping and free spline lug nut sale April 1st through April 9th. Just call in and leave a voicemail or email. PEPP refund is also a good amount for your car and wheel of choice.

Wow. I'm onboard with everyone here that the black ILX is probably the best I have seen on the forums thus far. That body kit makes a HUGE difference. I may have to go with that after some coilovers.

wheel gap on the white one doesn't look that good with the wheels

white ILX owner is already planning on dropping it I believe. Soon this car will be showcased on our site in a new way...

Considering a splitter kit and maybe a grille.
Scheduled a visit to my new factory upon my return from the week long break. The grille will resemble the 4th Gen TL "A" bar grille we already offer but with the correct angles and proportions. The splitter kit will be very simple, but will add a new characteristic to the underside of the ILX.

When will a prototype be released for viewing? I saw that you guys make your own aerokits. I'd def like to see what my options are before dropping coin on the Acura one.

I have a polished metal metallic ILX. I think the RJ wheels would look sick with a drop, but I'd go 18s not 19's. I'm partial to more meat on the tires to help with the bumps.

keep in mind you could fit something more like a 235/35/19 tire on the 19" too, I dont really agree with the 30 sidewall on these above ILXs.. The 18s will probably be a 40 profile.

If that helps you with your decision, 35 is a respectable sidewall.

The tire is the first thing I noticed on the pictures above. Looks like a rubber band around the wheel. Definitely get meatier tires unless you like bent rims and blown tires.

Yeah.. the 225/30 doesn't make sense... maybe if the car was slammed and they wanted the hella flush look lol

Point taken. My most comfortable size has been 235/40/18. I'll have to research what impact it has compared to the OEM tire in terms of % too fast/slow as well as this "low resistance" category of tires that are supposedly good for the hybrid. I have the hybrid 16" wheels that are like 205 width; so skinny it sucks but then again this car isn't racing anyone. Wheels and aerokit would just be for show. Have you guys seen the prius plus sport edition? Bigger wheels and lowering springs.

This is the site I always use. Gives you size difference plus speed % off.

Just an FYI. Comparing the 205/55/16 OEM to several 18" options (for us hybrid owners)...looks like 225/40/18 is best match with 0.8% "faster' difference and for a +48 18x7.5 wheel.

Anyone know the offset and rim width of OEM? I assumed +55 and 16x7 sizes.

We are still looking to expand our ILX appeal and gallery, so take advantage of the incentives for the Photo Exchange Promo Program, read more about it here under the "PEPP" section:

http://www.ronjonwheels.com/discounts.html

Refund amounts vary depending on vehicle color, wheel diameter and mods. But they are significant. call in for more info, 1-888-876-6566, Rondy.

Hmmmm... Depends on what "significant" means.. I'd go 18 235/40/18 on an other wise stock looking grey car. Can you give a $$ range? It would be a couple weeks and I'd rather spend the money on other stuff but if the deal is right I been known to drop money on stuff I don't need lol

Still in the fridge, but not spoiled yet. Just trying to meet demand for the existing kits and get stable so my guys can be ready to start a new project and finish it before the next batch of kits needs to be made.
