Well, I Finally Joined the AcuraZine BMW Crew
Back in Feb of this year, I purchased a Euro spec Phoenix Yellow with Individual Piano Black and Kiwi leather
I'll take official some official pics, just wanted to share

Of course I know the color is not for everyone. When I first saw this color back in 04, I thought it was horrid, but since coming to love it
Car came to me lowered; all I've done is LED tail ligts, black kidney/fender grilles, 15mm spacers up front/ 8mm in rear. I may not do much more, other than CSL wheels.

I would rather have that E60 in your avatar. Thats my dream car
thanks guys
yea I will, I plan on taking some pictures with a camera instead of a camera-phone and I'll put 'em up with the interior
I like to refer to it as dehydrated piss
the Leguna Seca is a beautiful color; this one kind of fell into my lap.
It's a car that was originally purchased in Germany, then the owner moved to France, then Miami. Had the car shipped to MIA from France. He got a lady knocked up in South Florida, traded the car into Braman Motors for an X5 with 16,xxx kilometers, where my friend and tech for BMW picked up the car. My friend moved from Braman to work for BMW in Fort Laud where I met him. Then in Feb, his wife got a job in Sweden and moved out. Said he wanted to put the car up for sale; I knew what kind of condition it was in, and all the services that had been done so I told him don't bother, went to the bank and drove home in my new car

Nice, nice pickup and cool that you know the whole long story on the car. I wonder if she got knocked up in your car haha
As someone else mentioned, that car has aged very well. While I know the general year of BMW's, it is still shocking to see when you mentioned its year (don't think you said for sure but 2001 to 2003 according to the non LED tails) because it doesn't look 10 years old at all. Enjoy and more pics!

Very nice! My favorite M3 ever! Well maybe not the color, but the generation haha. I don't dislike the color, it would just take some serious getting used to. I like your name for it, dehydrated piss lolz.
Keep us up to date on how things go. I keep going back and forth about getting rid of my truck and picking up a nice E46... maybe even a drop top. Curious how your experience is with it...
Oh and congrats... sweet ride

Thanks guys
Silver Grey is just as sexy; what interior color?
Depending on the light, it changes. More people describe it as green, I see the yellow
Sold the CL in one day. He may pop up here from time to time. Put it this way, I could turn around and sell it for a chunk of change
I felt like I was stealing from my friend.
Not too shabby of a pick-up yourself, my friend
LOL thats the first thing I thought of!
Its a "2001" and I put in quotes, because the 8th to last digit on the VIN is stamped 0, which leads me to believe it was produced in 2000. They started production on the E46 M3's in 1999. Way ahead of the times, I feel. More pics to come, I promise.
LOL I do miss the CL at times, blieve it or not
Back when I started as a valet at a BMW dealership, the first time I saw this color I thought the guy was nuts for owning such an ugly car. Then the past two years, I saw this car almost every day and fell in love.
I love the 8200 rpm redline
Thank you
Will do JB... my experience may be somewhat altered; I got enough spare parts to rebuild half the car, and the majority of my friends are BMW techs, so any repairs won't weigh too heavy on my pocket. The vert's rarely have problems with the tops...

Thank you! Do you still have the E92?
The price for the early E46's is very affordable now; just work hard!
PY and LSB were the pilot colors for the E46; they quit producing them in 04.

Thanks buddy; its 6MT.
