2004 Acura TSX won't START
I am at my wits end with this intermittent problem. I use my car mostly weekends and in the last 6-8 months it has not started on some occasions. (usually when I had plans and had to cancel!!) I have read all of the threads and not sure that they will fix my problem. Here is the history. Last year, I changed the battery with a new one that I purchased directly from Acura. All of a sudden about 6 months ago, the car would not start. I read somewhere that the sequence in turning the key and ignition should be done with a stop inbetween the on and ignition turn on. So I did this, listening for the clicks, and the hum (of the fuel pump) one time the car even just stopped in the middle of traffic! again, after 15 minutes it started again. It only did this once...thank God! But now, after sitting for a week, after heavy rains, it won't start, not even after waiting the 5 or 10 minutes. It did the same thing on Monday, after rain, but did start when I went back outside after 20 minutes. (very frustrating issue). I read that it could be the ignitor? the distributor? it turns but nothing happens. but now,,it turns with an skip, (different sequence in the turn sound, as if its going to die. all works fine, radio, lights, etc...so I doubt that its the battery. Can anyone please help!!

still plays with cars
Never heard of an ignitor. K24 engines do not have a distributor. Crank with a skip tells me you have one cylinder that's either firing or weak on compression. Your vehicle needs professional help to check the basics: fuel, spark and compression.
