2006 TL Blacked out headlights

Category: Lights
Price: $500
Private or Vendor Listing: Vendor Listing
Part Fits (you may select multiples): TL 3G
Location (State/Prov/Terr): MA
Item Condition: Used

Details
2006 TL headlights
Blacked out V2
Painted fog light bulb cover
CF accent using new method of inlays.

Condition
Both headlights are in great condition, all tabs on driver side headlights are in tact, one of the tab on the passenger side headlight has been mended. The mended tab had a crack and was mended using plastic weld, the weld does not affect functionality.

Price: $500 shipped

Headlights will fit 2006 model TLs, directly.
For 2004-05 model TLs you'd need a smaller ballast from 06+ models to make these work for your car.
These will also fit 07-08 base model TLs without any alteration.

Picture of the mended tab.

JnC, I live in MA and would like to ask you to modify my 2008 TL type S headlights but I can't PM since I'm a new member. Can you email me @ digitalfx35 at gmail.com?

Thanks, Ken

You can swap the OEM bulbs with the following.

http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_trkparm...&_sop=15&_sc=1

They are chrome coated amber bulbs, when not lit they blend in nicely with the turn signal reflector chrome but yet still shine amber when lit keeping everything legal .

Bump, open to reasonable offers.

Willing to trade for stock 06 lights +$100. You save $100 as going through my trade in program you'd paid $200 total in labor and trade in charge plus cost of CF work.

Mods: Kindly change thread title to " WTT/FS: Blacked out V2 headlights , and also mention the above stated option in the original post, thanks.

Just to make sure I understand correctly, I would trade you stock 06 + $100 for these? What's the turnaround time?

Yes.

No turn around, as you'd send a $400 deposit through paypal and I'll ship these out to you. Once you receive the new lights you'll install them and ship your old ones back to me. After I receive your old headlights back from you I'll deduct $100 plus shipping charges from your $400 deposit and issue the rest as partial refund. These are OEM headlights and I need your old headlights to be Stock OEM i.e. they should be in stock form and should have never been worked on etc in the past.

Not at the moment.

But rather than paying the high premium for the type S headlights I think its best to locate a fair priced set of 07-08 base model headlights and have them moded to replicate Type S lights. If you do get the Type S headlights you'll have to mod them a bit to take your base model turn signals as the type S uses different size/style turn signal bulbs compared to base model TL.
