Painted ASPEC 18x8 wheels $600 obo

CLEAN set of 18" x 8" ASPEC wheels in dark silver grey (gun metal).

Straight - never hit, no curb rash.

I'd rate them an 8-9 out of 10 (they aren't new but very low mileage).

One chip near the edge I tried to show with pics.

Please see photos on Picasa web album here.

http://picasaweb.google.com/jim.steenhoek?feat=email

Locals only at this time as I prefer not to ship.

$600 obo.

Possibly deliver or meet 1/2 way for people in LA/OC.

I will respond in the order I receive pms/replies.

Thank you.

As far as I can tell it's oem factory... I took the pictures around 6pm when I got home and it was practically dark so perhaps the flash on my point and shoot is making it look off.

Thank you.

Thank you for correcting me... I have a 2G TL so I am not completely familiar with 3G options... i just figured these would look great on my wdp TL so I picked them up a couple weeks ago. Got laid off yesterday I have to save as much as possible to keep my house and family intact until I land another job.

I should have measured the wheels before posting as I just assumed they are 8" wide but I will confirm this evening and update this thread.

As for the proper color - all I can do is take more pictures, saturday in good lighting to provide as accurate description as possible... not trying to mislead anyone here at all.

Thank you to all that are interested and contributing to correct my listing.

They look nice, if they were 18x8.5 I might pick them up for a spare set of wheels. I kind of regret selling mine now.

I will measure and post tonight.

Once I measure jetspd1477 is "interested" and has first right of refusal, then anthraciteaspec said "might", and I hate cars is third in line with "probably".

I will post the size here later tonight. My apologies on not having the accurate size now... don't mean to be difficult.

Thank you.

FWIW no one has said I'll take them so everyone has a shot

No need to measure... the width should be stamped either where the centerbore is (behind the wheel) or behind the spokes. look for 18x8 JJ or 18x8.5 JJ.

Great - thank you for the tip.

When I get home tonight, I will check and post what is stamped on the inside of the wheel.

Thanks again...

This is just for reference. Here is a pic of the gunmetals i sold awhile ago and you can see that the lips are different. But I think the ones you are selling is called platinum carbon!! Those are a nice color though!

Will some 235/40/18 tires fit on these wheels?

I'm located in Upland and am very interested in your wheels. Message me at phandango at gmail .com so we can discuss. I have cash and could possibly pick it up local today.

UPDATE - PRICE DROP $600 OBO WHEELS HAVE BEEN REPAINTED DARK SILVER GUNMETAL I DUNNO - NOT FACOTRY OEM. I think they were some brighter silver originally - not sure... paint job is clean but shows a few places where paint has chipped deep inside around lugnuts and one vane.

Uploaded new pics taken in direct sunlight todayto the picasa web album... see link http://picasaweb.google.com/jim.steenhoek?feat=email

Apologies to Phandango - didn't mean to waste your time.

MODS - PLEASE UPDATE LISTING TO SAY PAINTED 18x8 ASPEC $600 OBO.

My ignorance will hopefully be someone else's gain.

I'd really like the person that gets these to see these in person so there is no miscommunication on what they are getting, nice aspec wheels that have been repainted and have a few areas that have some minor paint chips. They are nice wheels, not perfect, not oem, but nice. The last thing I would want is for a buyer to be upset or disappointed with a purchase of something that has been shipped all the way across the country.

If... I decide to ship after all locals have passed, it would be as-is at buyers expense with no refunds... so understandably I would just rather sell locally for now...

Hope that makes sense and you understand.... not trying to exclude the rest of the country just prefer to sell to somebody who has the chance to inspect in person and be happy with their decision.

Thank you

Will these wheels be a direct fit-on for a 04 TL? Do I have to modify anything so that it will fit on the car? Also does it comes with lug nuts? Thank you.

I know that if I want the wheels, I have to pay for my own shipping cost. Can you please kindly tell me how much it would cost to ship all four wheels to 01843? Thank you.

You've got to be kidding...everyone's always looking for Aspecs...if you have to drop money on tires anyway to get a very badass (looks like well painted) OEM option for $600 seems like a steal for me. I STILL get compliments on the wheels on a 6 year old car with OEM aspecs on it.

Agree. Wheels look sweet. They're upgrade option for the 3rd gen 04-08 tl. Good luck selling them. Surprised it's not sold yet. I would buy them and pay for shipping no problem. Sucks about being laid off.

Here's the thing... they are painted - they are not perfect - one person said it was too dark silver, the other too light...

There are some chips and areas that make it apparent that the wheels have been painted.

For those reasons, I really would rather sell locally - the last thing I want is someone to be upset with purchasing these wheels and having them shipped across the country and then realizing they don't look like he hoped they would.

That being said, if I can't sell them locally by next week, I'll re-think shipping - selling as is, with buyer paying shipping.

I hope I am not coming across like an ahole or something - just if it was me, I'd wanna see them in person before buying.

They are straight (to my knowledge) and look good/great from 3 feet away or more.

Thanks for the kind words and enouragement.
