Well, since the other thread turned into a chat thread I figured we should have a new one specifically for Cars & Coffee in Charlotte.

I'll post the monthly events and info, and feel free to use this thread to meet up with others or post pictures from C&C events!!

 

Next event has been pushed to the 2nd Saturday of the month. Per the C&C website, last February (2009) had over 250 cars show, making it the largest attendance for this location. If that holds true again this year, you won't want to miss this!!

Damn I've just now found this thread! I would love to go to the C&C in March if there is one.

 

They have it every month. Typically it's the first Saturday of the month, however, this month they pushed it back in the hopes of getting better (warmer) weather. Looks like no such luck.

I'll update this thread for each meet they have, so once they announce March, I'll add it here...

Has anybody heard anything about a C&C next month? I would be willing to drive over for it!

 

Don't know anything but PM if you come down. I work until 2:30pm but I'm free after that, we can have a 2 car meet lol

I believe all of the C&C meets are the first Saturday of the month, weather permitting, which means next Saturday the 6th. I'll finally be turning 21 two days after that

I just spent 30 minutes on the C&C Charlotte forum and I didn't see shit about a March 2010 meet. I'll keep my eyes open though.

 

I am still waiting to hear about the March event. As soon as i get the info I will post it here!!

 

I live near Northlake mall, might check this event out...

Just purchased a 2010 TSX w/Tech, Palladium. Had an 07 TSX before. Hope to see some of the Acura owners on Saturday.

we usually park in the opposite lot, once an acura parks there, more will pull up eventually.

i was going to park next to a ferrari a few months ago but that would have looked stupid lol

hahaha and believe me your car looks way better then mine right now. my rims aren't on yet, no lip kit, stupid springs and the atlp exhaust is sticking out like 5 inches without the lip lol

but hey, mine might sound just as good as some of the cars out there not ferrari exotic but pretty good for a 4 door family sedan lol

 

I will be looking for the acuras in the parking lot myself...

Was just about to bump this thread.

I'll probably get out there around/just after 9:00...after getting up ridiculously early the last two days, I want some sleep (although I should still be in bed at 9:00 on a Saturday). I'll look for you guys when I get there.

 

At least you live close. It's about 2 and a half hours to Charlotte from Cary, so I'll be getting up about 4:45. Plenty of time to make breakfast and make sure I have all of my shit together. Plus I want to get there at 8 so I don't miss anything. I'm assuming that's when everybody is meeting there?

I'm excited I get to put my D60 to proper use

i guess the COFFEE part of cars and coffee isnt a joke...i got there at 11:45 and didnt see anything but audis, vipers and a few miscelaneous cars and people here and there. good thing i know people up that way so i didnt feel like i drove for nothing. next acura meet that starts after noon ill go but thats the first and last cars and coffee ill go to.

Seen the same thing , two white audis ,porshe, maserati... and also seen orange cl wit rims lowered on Harris blvd..Is that you? +2 to those who said get there earlier.

It's called Cars & Coffee for a reason... most people are there early!! Plus, it starts at 8am! As chilldog said, the bulk of the action usually starts around 8am-9am. People typically start leaving around 10:30am-11am. Last big one we were at last fall was pretty much empty by 11:00-11:30am... but before that there were about 125 cars, motorcycles and trucks on display. Not to mention the hundreds and hundreds of "spectators". And as the weather warms, those numbers should start increasing...

Also keep in mind that Cars & Coffee is not an Acura or Acurazine meet per say. It is an area meet organized by franchisees of the Cars & Coffee brand. So while many of the local Acurazine members use it as an opportunity to meet up and see some awesome vehicles, we have nothing to do with the organization of the actual C&C meet itself.





Sorry we missed this one.... we should be at the next one!! But not that early! We usually get there around 8:30am-8:45am or so...

Next time I won't leave so early. I thought traffic would be worse that it actually was.

I found out that there is a C&C in Raleigh as well as Charlotte. To keep gas costs down, I may start alternating which meets I go to. Charlotte was this month, I may go to Raleigh next month, and then be back in Charlotte in May.

 

^ Hmm... didn't know their was a Raleigh one. There is nothing on their site indicating that. That's pretty cool.

 

^I didn't think so either but Jason (bobbylight83) told me there were over 100 cars in the Briar Creek parking lot.

I guess it's not an "official Cars and Coffee" meeting spot
