Honda: P-NUT Concept news **Revealed (page 1)**

Honda has announced it will be launching a “futuristic” new coupe concept at the Los Angeles motor show next month.

The Japanese firm said its Personal-Neo Urban Transport (P-NUT) design study model showcases “an ultra-compact, aggressively designed coupe”.

Although no further details have been released, the concept, which has been designed in Honda’s US design studio, is believed to be similar in concept to the 1+1 Nissan Land Glider displayed at the Tokyo show last month.

The LA show begins on 2 December.

"So what kind of car do you drive?"

"Oh I drive a P-NUT."

I'm sure any guy will win the ladies over saying that.

... and to satisfy its traditional performance-oriented youth clientčle, Honda will also offer the Personal-Neo Urban Sport variant, aka P-NUS.

info

Honda used its presence at the Los Angeles Auto Show to launch what it calls a “Personal-Neo Urban Transport” concept car. Shortened to P-NUT, the car features quirky styling to match the nameplate. So far, there has been no word as to whether or not the car is intended for production.

The vehicle is designed to navigate tight urban settings with relative ease. There’s room for as many as three passengers in the tiny car, which measures just over 11 feet in length.

Like Daimler’s Smart car, the P-NUT has its motor in the rear. The platform is designed to accommodate a conventional small displacement internal combustion engine, a hybrid gasoline-electric powertrain, or a battery-electric powertrain.

“A new generation is discovering the benefits of living in urban centers that provide convenient access to business
