p2r intake manifold thermoblock put on yesterday

 

Enjoy the much cooler Air temps.

At highway speed, my intake mani temp is only about 15-20 deg warmer than outside air.

What is up with this weather? 62 and raining on July 12th....total

 

I kind of enjoyed todays weather... lame I know...

 

I wasnt ready for it to be october yet today....


My apartment is full of boxes for the move and the dog has no where to move about anymore, and with the rain he is going nuts being stuck inside. Finally around 10 tonight it stopped raining long enough that i could take him outside and throw a stick back and forth for a bit.


Cant wait to get out of this place and into a house...

 

105 pages was nowhere near enough!

Even though it showered almost all afternoon, was able to get in 9 holes of golf! It was a little messy out there, but still had a good time.

It should warm up later today so I can wash the car. It's been a couple of weeks, so it's pretty dirty.

whoA! new thread! fyi not a post whore; according to my join date and post count, i actually need to post more i think.

anyhow, a few weeks back as i went onto I84 west down the on ramp and went along side a clean WDP lowered a spec kit'd and rear A was painted gunmetal it looked like that matched the wheels...

anyway i was cruising along and said wdp tl downshifted and took off pretty fast. sounded awesome.

I think it will look alot better in person than it does in my 2 minute edit.

 

are you gonna paint it? or vinyl? if its vinyl, i think its worth a try. will be very unique and eye catching at the shows.

I think that is it... I think the one im thinking of didnt have a rear wing.

What i think i can do also, is have my CSL spoiler painted black to draw the black onto the trunk as well. Maybe, we shall see.

Im gonna re edit that pic i did now. My mouse was shitting the bed but i found my old one and its working now.

And yes Min, it will all be done in Vinyl. Cant see it costing too much.

first pic was pretty good but i'm not sure after seeing the side shot version. think it disrupts tl's clean line. or blacked out trunk + csl spoiler and cf hood might spice up more.

 

I think your car now is awesome kyle, taking it that far kinda steps into rice territory IMHO. Get bags son! That's how you'll get looks at the shows.

Btw, Air Runner TL kit $3.5k.. that hit the back burner on a stove at sears...that i may buy in 15 years.

 

i think you should just do a carbon hood and trunk.. with the roof itself in the black.. not the sides where the windows are.. that might give it a cleaner look.. also i would suggest changing the chrome front grill to a different color IMO

 

I would need to retint my windows to pull it off right i think.

Also, right now my grill is brushed ...my new TypeS one will be chrome.


Not going for the "skunk" stripe down the middle of the car with this. Too played out with white cars. Just want the top of the car black
