Car slams into reverse; other problems

Ok, I've been having some issues the last couple days, hopefully somebody can tell me whether its a sign of tranny failure.

First, when I turn my car on in the mornings, I usually let it warm up for about 1-2 minutes before I drive off. When I shift into reverse, the car slams into gear, very hard. It only does it in the morning. I don't know if it might have something to do with the temps here (Its about 30F degrees here in the mornings), but it only does this when the car has sat for along time (overnight). Is it normal for the trans to do this when its cold?? I'm not a big fan of idle warm ups (I've heard conflicting reports on whether they are good or bad for your car) so thats why I only let the car warm up for a few minutes max before I drive off.

Second, driving home tonight, I was coasting at about 30 mph (my guess is the trans was probably in 4th gear) at about 1k rpm...all of a sudden, the revs bounce up to about 2k rpm, then they go down, then back up, then down, then back up again (3 times total). This all happened in the span of like 5 seconds. Finally it stopped and went back down to 1k rpm (The whole time I was giving a very slight bit of throttle, but my throttle input didn't change while the revs were bouncing everywhere.) So does this mean my tranny is starting to kick the bucket??

FYI: My car has 60k miles on it. I am on tranny #2 (However, according to the dealership, there was nothing wrong with the first tranny. The previous owner was a cop and when he found out there was a trans problem, he insisted they change it under warranty. I guess out of professional courtesy they did it for him, but my service guy said there was nothing wrong with the first trans). I just had the oil jet recall done about 2 months ago as well. Any ideas

Ok well thats good to know (although its wierd cause it doesn't slam into any other gear, just reverse. It shifts from 1-2, 2-3, etc. just fine).

What about the second problem, any idea?

Have the trans replaced, i had the same problem, and just had it replaced 2 weeks ago. It turned out to be the trans, PCM, and a motor mount. Even cold, it shouldn't slam into gear, now that ihave mine back, it is silky smooth, although it lost a little of its 'bite' when it comes to power.

An acura should operate in reverse like a normal car, cold or hot.
