Its a 250...so no. lol

I would hit those brakes though...over and over again

Volks are nice, and those specific ones are like $1,100 a pop I think (they're mag.) but they don't really belong on that car IMO.

No. And I'd beat that owner with his license plate.

Not that there's a "right" car to rice out, but this is definitely the wrong car...

Blue wheels, teal brakes, undriveably low, and "JDM NUB" license plate do it in for me.

I hope the owner doesn't read through this thread lol

I think its the Volks that give it the wrong image, if it had some nice deep dish HRE's or something it would look 50x better. Maybe get a not-so-ricey color on the brake calipers and stick to silver or chrome lug-nuts. Also pick some better styled fart cannons? Also, the plate...lol

Besides that, everything else looks stock to me. On a side not, I never realized how dull and boring the IS's interior was without the woodtrim and navigation...wow. Don't think i've ever seen an interior shot w/o both of those.

Sorry, I think this car looks amazing.

No rice whatsoever.

Volk TE's, slammed on its face, Project Mu brakes.

Very clean.

Very much agree on the looks.

WIHI? Ride height is too low for a soft ass like me, I need my ground clearance.

Wrong car for all those parts. If it was the 350 I'd hit it, but I'd anodize those calipers red or paint them black.

The wheels are black from what I can tell. The plate is stupid I agree.

The rest looks pretty clean. It wont last long though, one pice of uneven road and that lip/underside is done

This car doesn't sit well in my stomach. I look at it, esp the first pic, and am just kind of like, at a loss of words. I kind of like it and don't like it, at the same time. It's kind of a weird feeling. Usually, like, almost always, it's one or the other. The side mirrors look enormous and make the overall shape look odd - would be nice to see some small "race" type mirrors on there, I think that would help. I like that it's stick though, and I don't mind it being a 250 for that specific reason - looks like that applies to the owner as well. The car looks aggressive and I like that part about it. I'd swap some bright yellow bulbs into the fogs in the bumper.

Except for the yellow bulbs and the side mirrors. Most JDM folks will put those ultra flimsy-looking "carbon fiber" mirrors on that look like a bent shaving razor. I like the wheels but the dark blue color doesn't do it any justice.

Silly Lexus for not offering the 6-speed in the 350.

Its weird, I wouldn't say this car is ugly, but I don't think the mods goes too well with this car.

Kind of like one of those girls you see on the street, you know that they can look hot if they wore something else, but damn they look average with those boring jeans and t-shirts on.

I think those cars look ugly even when they're modified.

When I was 20, I might have liked that car but I doubt it. Generally I've never liked "JDM". I'm definitely more Euro-centric.

Alpina, the DP Porsches of the 80s, Zender BMWs, etc ... But even in the Euro market there's always people with no taste.

As far as this IS goes I think the problem is the colors. If it was all monochromatic I think it would have worked better.

I don't think those wheels work on that car but the teal calipers and whatever REALLY don't make any sense.

I always thought the IS was too slab sided... like look above the rear wheel, there is like 2 feet of solid, unbroken sheetmetal there.. it just makes it look weird. I dunno.

Ah, yes I can see it now that I'm on a better computer, very dark blue. but blue.

Aside from that...I think the car is very understated in its setup. I mean fine if you dont like the IS, but jeez its not like this dude has graphix and a whale tale wing.

Yeah, that area of the car really bothers me as well, but the entire side profile is kind of like that. Its like they focused all their attention on the front, put some into the rear, and completely slapped the side together. And those mirrors....

i was never a big fan of dark colored wheels. Only in very rare cases, on the perfect car did I think they look good (exige for example). I thought they were a bit more for the racer look than the luxury look and half the time i think they just look like VERY dirty regular wheels . So I agree they don't really match, but this is just my opinion, and i've seen dark wheels on way worse cars. Everything else I love.
