Not sure if it matters but I have an 06 TL with Nav and replaced the screen off an 08 TL. Not sure if the 06 and the 08's have the same screens and hook up's for a camera but I would think having the 08 installed it would have the option correct? Did all of the 07-08 TL's with Nav have back-up cameras?
What all is needed to use this trunk piece and camera on my car? Wire to be ran to the trunk or are the TL's already wired for cameras? Or do certain screens only work with the cameras?

Youll need the harness that goes from the camera connection to the nav, but the camera will work as it's the same part through all years and models. Not all 07-08 models had navi, but being as you have a navi from 08, it will work since this camera came off a 08 as well.

Says it's used for vehicles with preexisting Navigation but adding aftermarket cameras. $30

This seems like it's made for adding more inputs like front facing cameras, rear and the ability to use the touch screen to use the cameras. Not sure I'm needing this but it does say when switching to reverse the screen automatically switches. $190!

Yea im not sure on aftermarket interfaces on the camera but i would assume it works the same since there's just power, ground, and a trigger when going in reverse to turn the camera on. The housing alone goes for around $100 so the camera is basically free. I have no use for it anymore and its great for someone who needs a replacement or wants oem fitment when adding on a camera.

if you want to sell the chrome trim you have wrapped, id be open to that.

I want the whole thing gone, it's just an unnecessary part in my garage.
I also have the oem chrome type s trim I can include with this housing instead of the cf wrapped one. If anyone is interested, just pm me.
Pricing with chrome trim would be slightly more since they are more expensive and harder to find but let me know. Chrome trims alone go for $100-120, housing goes for another $100 and camera I've seen between $60-100
Selling it altogether for alot cheaper than that

Great condition license plate trim. Rear camera included, works perfect. Trim piece at the top has been wrapped in gloss cf vinyl. Nothing cracked or broken. All clips, screws, and nuts are there.
