The install looks clean! But looking at the alpine, wouldn't it have been better to use a newer, more advanced system? Possibly something with Android Auto and Apple Carplay like the Kenwood ddx9902s.

I got a tech model camera on ebay for $80, for anybody that is interested the four wires are black red yellow and white,
Black = ground
Red = power
Yellow = camera in
White = +12vDC from reverse lamp.
i wired mine a little different and made it so the camera comes on with a switch so i did not use the white wire ( we have cameras that stay on in the machines at work and ive grown to like it on when i want it on and not just in reverse, idk just personal preference i guess.) but thats the wiring if anybody needs it. oh, also used a 2amp low profile atm fuse with an add a circuit.

Looks great. Just did mine but had a few issues. What wires besides power and ground did you need to get too for the iDatalink? I tried to connect my PAC steering wheel adapter but couldn't find on of the wires.

So, just checking...you were able to use the TECH Camera in a Wing Spoiler and wire it up to an aftermarket stereo? Did you use an adapter or just soldier/tap the wires manually? I am looking to do something similar with a Pioneer AVIC-7200NEX so I would love to hear the details of how everything was done? It looks like you used the metra dash kit. How did the Maestro SW work? I'm looking to long press on the off-hook button and have it fire up Google Now searches or something. Did you use the metra adapter to the factory amp? How is the sound? Some people have reported a low-grade electrical hum. Did you observe that?

I am about to do an after market stereo install like you. Only im going witth Xtrons Android Unit

TB706APL which can be seen here: Buy 7" Android 6.0 Octa-Core Car Stereo with Screen Mirroring Function & OBD2 | Xtrons

Many installers are lazy and tell me no the climate controls must be sacrificed, I see you still have yours. how did yoyu achieve this?
I am also Considering installing 2 head units so I dont have a dead upper screen. Is there enough room where the factory Display is to fit a 2din chassis? Its viturally impossible to find a video or images for the 4g TL After market stereo install.
You are the only person online in all the world to do this for us so THANK YOU. As a thank you here is a link to the 2012 Acura TL service manual. I bought and planning to share it.
