I answered all of your questions in my first response you. That said, the amount of work is way beyond what you *think* it is; hence the fact many folks here have tried, and as far as I know, only one has been completely successful, while there are as many as two others who have been partially successful; basically the engine and transmission work together, but there are numerous niggling electronic issues. You can throw all the shade you want on my responses to you, but the fact remains, if you are dumb enough to start this conversion, there is will over a 90% chance you will fail to have a completely functional car.

I completed the swap in my drive way, I also retained the under dash harness and have been driving for over a year no issues, I only lost the tilt mirrors and memory seats no big deal at all it can be done and honestly I didn’t spend that much on it do your research guys it’s not that bad at all Biggest issue I can see is the scan tools required I used my HDs and autel and most people don’t have those available
My car is an 06. I used an 05 4 plug ecu with Navi Summer tire sport sport I just re pinned the plug going to the ecu from the dash harness so I did not have to pull the dash panel just study the ecu connector pin outs I got lucky 05-06 at and mt are pretty identical

I would call Paul to make sure you have the right items. He has done over 4-5 conversion himself. He knows everything about the J32, and I mean everything.

curious about the engine mount brackets. Why are the brackets different from auto to manual when you can buy aftermarket mounts (innovative/xlr8) and those fit both auto and manual?
Yes I got the trans from Ack. He said it was from an 05.
Im getting the oem ecu from the 05 manual to see if it will work in my 04. Even though the oem ecu part numbers are different from 04 to 05

Print out the plug pinouts from the 04-05 TL service manual, and then the plug pinouts from the 07-08 TL service manual. Then order replacement ECU plugs. They're like $2/each on aliexpress.
