6mt 05 rpms drop slowly between shifts

Hi there, so it's come to my attention that when I shift the rpms drop when I put the clutch in but they go down slow not like normal. I don't know if it would be normal but it feels like it takes more time for the rpms to go down so I can let off the clutch so it Rev match.

would the slave cylinder mod fix this issue? I wouldn't think so because I've heard it's for when shifting are high revs normally I shift at 3k out of first and then match the rpms with the speed by releasing clutch at the right time but I feel when the rpms are dropping really slowly.

the clutch and flywheel is new what could be the issue or am.I just overreacting.

thanks

You're just overreacting. It's the way the ecu is programmed. Don't forget it's still a luxury sedan. When Acura designed the car they intended to make it sporty but still comfortable. This was the first thing I noticed too when I bought my 6mt 3rd gen

I remember seeing that here: #3 - https://acurazine.com/forums/third-g...-001-a-540216/

So, I'd say it's normal, and maybe purposefully trying to rev match for you.

Slave cylinder mod helps get that numb feeling out. Especially first to second shift. Then you get the hang of the clutch more. Also helps with reducing hard clutch pedal from slippage.

If you want to have a true sporty feeling and don't mind ditching the luxury and soft clutch engagement, do the slave cylinder check valve delete and then look into getting a single mass lightweight aluminum flywheel. But be warned if you drive your car hard then you better stock up on some axles just in case
