However, doubling up two of the .12 that Roger linked is not a bad idea and just as easy.

resistor specs:

Watts: 2
Ohms: 0.06
Tolerance: 3
Lead/Terminal Type: Axial
Number Leads/Terminals: 2
Material: Wirewound
it means that it is able to dissipate 2 watts of power/heat, compared to only 1 watt of power that is required (just means it might be a little larger sized then the one's shown in the photos)

Exactly. Check out one of the picture here http://www.ridgelineownersclub.com/f...ad.php?t=37691
This guy solder his in parallel cause he couldn't find a 0.12 ohm resistor locally so he work with what he could find.

FYI a .1ohm 2w resistor works fine. That was all I could find locally. So .12+/-.02ohm seems to be acceptable.

Anyone with front and rear LED bulbs try two .12ohm resistors in parallel with success?

Man this mod was fairly easy, alot cleaner as stated as opposed to the load resistors. Ever since i put my type1 switchbacks on, its been a head turner! i live around the new brunswick,nj area and i can only imagine how many people around there have probably been searching frantically for them(thats how they do there, they "copy") thanks ALOT roger for sure this mod made me realize i wasted money on the load resistors.

Do you have two .06 Resistors? If you do ill take em off ur hands LMK. Ive been trying to figure this out and it looks like radio shack doesn't carry them where i live.

Lol you guys are helpless I posted a link already to where I bought them but here it is again

http://parts.digikey.com/1/parts/169...r-52-0r12.html

You can buy them from any of the other major electronics distributors but digikey has $2 dollar shipping on small orders

Has anyone successfully used two .12 resisters, in parallel with front and read LEDs?

As soon as I get my switchbacks and rear signals I will be attempting it. I will be sure to post with pictures if it is successful.

Just installed my switchbacks tonight and it worked great. I installed 2 of the .12ohm resistors in because I am planning on adding rear LED signals as well. With that said, it still functions great with both resistors in there. The hardest part was getting the module out from under the dash, I'm not sure why but it was a PITA.

Thank you Roger for figuring this out, and thank you ervin for the resistors!

OK But has anyone attempted this with both Switchbacks and LEDs in the rear? BSpecialist said he just added both resistors with switchbacks only. I have some resistors on their way so hopefully this does work cause this hyper flash is a PITA when both switchbacks and rear LEDS

My rear LED bulbs are coming from Hong Kong and won't be here until later this month. That's when I will be able to confirm that 2 of the .12ohm resistors work...that is unless Mafyoso beats me to it. So hurry up Mafyoso!

I want to first thank luder917 for mailing me the resistors
So YES the Two .12 Ohmz Resistors Worked with Switchback LEDs In the Headlights and Red Turn LEDs in the Tail lights
Hell Yea no more Hyper Flashing. Here is a picture and a Video to show PROOF that it works

http://www.flickr.com/photos/63529687@N04/5834495631/

P.S. It took my longer to UPLOAD the damn video from my Cell phone to Youtube (over WiFi) Then it did to do this MOD. Took maybe 15 minutes. The hardest part was trying to get the Relay out of its slot near the Fuse panel. Other than that I used a cheap ass Soldering Kit from Radio Shack and the Resistors Luder917 sent me. GL

Awesome work.

Thank you Roger, luder, ervin (for the resistors), and Mafyoso for confirming the 2 resistor theory. Can't wait to get my rear LEDs in!
