Bring your leather back to life! Pics inside!

I'm a big fan of Detailers Domain. They do some amazing work when it comes to keeping cars looking new and bringing cars back to life.

I read their write-up on cleaning leather interiors. It was pretty straight forward and simple.

These are the following items that I used:

- Porter Cable
- 1Z Einszett Plastic Vinyl Deep Cleaner
- Porter Cable Grey Ultra Soft Upholstery Brush
- Microfiber

Now the key to making sure you don't burn up the leather to make sure you spray a decent amount of the cleaner. Just enough to keep the leather damp.

This is the before picture (notice how shiny it is):

50/50 (clean side on the left. Not as shiny):

The final product:

The leather looks new and all the creases that had dirt embedded in it are now clean, and looks fresh. The leather is soft to the touch. No more greasy feeling.

Cleaning products used by previous owners over the years. Also, I would imagine body soil and just general airborne dirt.

Did you apply leather conditioner after cleaning?

I did not. It was far too hot and after 2 hours of cleaning, I was beat. I plan on putting some on today.

I wish I had taken better pictures, because of how dirty the leather was. It looks brand new.

Why was it necessary to use the Porter Cable polisher and the Porter Cable brush? Seems like one or the other would've done the job nicely.
