If you can find an i4 Tech in MT then go for it...they are rare as hell though. Comes with Navi, upgraded sound system, back up camera...etc. What year are you looking at?

I'm partial to the V6 tech but you end up paying pretty good for two extra cylinders. You really can't go wrong with any of them.

I think the invoice is a couple a hundred difference. With the 2012, you have the latest and possibly last MY of the TSX. With the 2011 and due to the quake, there were so many fewer made... if you find a MT with Tech or a rare color combo, it possibly may not depreciate as fast as a 2012.

I actually have a V7... my 1994 Dodge Ram dropped a cylinder last summer. Now it gets 6 mpg, but has a distinctive rumble to the engine.

the 2012 special edition tsx comes in Milano red with 6MT but no tech
Ebony Int. is the only choice with MT-also limited colors, white, black, silver, gray.
Time to test drive them and then choose which one you like at a price you can afford,

For 2011 models, if you want an MT, it only came with a black interior and white, black or silver exteriors. For 2012, you can only get the MT in the SE trim, and you cannot get both MT and Tech.

we don't really know what you are looking for in a car, power? handling? mpg? functions?

power - v6. obvious reason

handling - i4 has been told that its a bit more nimble because it's not as nose heavy.
mated with a 6spd and you have a pretty preppy car

mpg - both are pretty good honestly, obviously i4 has better mpg than v6

functions - do you have an external navi? the new navi display system is pretty sweet in the 11/12. i have a base 09, no complaints since i have a garmin i can snap on/off on my dashboard. do you park in tight spaces all the time? the back up camera might help, i sometimes wish i have that camera to help me with parallel parking

i have an external navi so that wouldn't be an issue....leaning towards the tsx i-4 MT tech package as of now

^Agreed.

Since they drop the 6MT on all model except the SE for 2012, I think you may have a hard time trying to find a 2011 with 6MT especially a Tech model.

The Tech model does come with a higher definition screen as well as HD based Navi and sound system compare to the 09/10 DVD based navi. The rear view camera also comes with guiding lines for 11 model also.
