$30 Test Pipe Review

I broke a couple studs on my OEM cat and the price for the studs and gaskets was more than $30, so I figured I'd try out the $30 "cat" on eBay listed for the Honda Accord V6. When I got it, it was very obvious it was just a test pipe with a resonator built into it. It's about 2.5" on the inlet and outlet, and you can see straight through it. The bolts and nuts that came with it are solid, but the gaskets were mediocre. Fitment was spot on without any issues. It had a bug for the O2 sensor, as well as a block off bolt. I also have an XLR8 test pipe, and they were pretty much identical in all measurements.

It also seems to have freed up a lot more HP than I was expecting on the butt dyno. I think that's mostly due to the fact I was running an old TL-P cat that may have been clogged, but I'm pretty happy with the product. If you're considering a test pipe, it's hard to beat this one for the price.
