fsttyms1 that looks badass!!!

How much did you mill off your heads and block, didn't you use a thinner head gasket?

I cant find the piece of paper from the machine shop right now but i do know it was over the service limit. If memory serves correctly it was .060 for the block, heads were .002 and the head gasket was .027

The car's rear is starting to shape up and taking on a much newer updated appearance.

The lower diffuser will enhance the bumper and once the license plate's pocket is in place, it'll all come together. As of now, just a bit leary of the sharp accent sculpture lines above the plate area. Sorta has a bit too much Euro "German" look, IMO. Perhaps the new smoked tails will finish things out and make things flow.

Keep up the good work with the body mods !!!

That raised your static compression about 2 points? Did you have any valve to piston clearance issue cutting that much? How much room is there to play with?

From the math I did and talking with the guys at King .040 is = to 1 point of compression. My j35a3 has 10:1 pistons and I'm using j32a2 cams, so I at least need to get back to the 10.5:1 of the j32a2 cams milling .020. It cost me $1/ .001 milled for both heads, wanting to raise compression as much as possible from milling the heads but don't want to get into timing or valve to piston issues.

Found the machine shop sheet. .006 block, .002 heads, .027 head gasket.

PS: I know is Fast Times.. But his Acurazine name is Fsttyms1..
When I'm typing I do like this "F a t t y" because I miss the "S" I blame iOS too since the predictive dictionary already stored "Fatty" so even if I spell it right the auto correct still inputs "Fatty" instead of "Fstty" which still mark it red as spelled wrong hahahaha too lazy to change that out though, just gotta know I mean no bad while saying fatty.

So nope Yumcha didn't started it for me.

Cut, shape and plastic weld pieces to get the correct shape, much like the rear bumper where i cut out the license plate pocket.
