It's a nearly whole day affair. The shop is PACKED. I believe all in all it was a 6-7 hour wait.

I drove from Philly. Takes a good 1.5 hours. I brought bills/laptop/books/ shopping list lol and made it as productive as possible

This deal is still on, took my TL this week and was out the door for $600. Acura dealer in Laurel quoted me $1200 for the same job. Thanks for saving me $600 bucks!

Just got an e-mail from Pohanka Acura offering the timing belt job for $599. Check out the bottom left coupon for more details.

Made the trek to Baltimore this weekend for a family reunion, and sitting at Anderson Honda this morning getting the timing belt changed out in my TL. Maintenance minder showed up last week with B4, so the timing for the trip could not have been better. Folks are friendly and it's a very clean and efficient operation here. I'm thrilled to save about $800 off the going rate at Leith Acura, my local dealer. Leith tried telling me the car needed timing belt 2 years/20,000 miles ago. Glad I said, 'no thanks.' I'll post an update later, but the special is still just shy of $600 with the tensioner included. Hope I don't need additional work, but we'll see.

A long day spent at the dealership, but mission accomplished. Needed front brakes and rotors also, so I hit the road about 3:00. Glad to have the service done, and appreciate the folks at Anderson Honda

I'm making the drive up there this week. Lady I spoke to said it was $489 plus the $90 tensioner. I report back when the service is complete.

Add me to the list of happy Anderson Honda customer. I was in at 0945 and left around 0420. The customer lounge is nice and comfy, friendly staff and lots of free coffee! I would make the trip again in the next 100k miles!

How much miles is on your car? Timing belt doesn't cause a light to come on and your car seems too early for that job anyway.

I have 104k mile I think. It says 15% before oil change also. Yeah I have a lot of highway miles.

But I did call and they are still doing the special but it cost $489 now and Crystal is no longer working there but they will still do the Acura. I plan on going there in the next few weeks. It sucks that it has to happen around the holidays...smdh...extra expenses.

I did my 2001 CL at 135k a year ago. I think you would be fine for another 15k easily. Also your car is only 4 years old so the belt is definitely not old I think you should be good. I would do it at 125k if I were you.

Just called this place today, talked to Scott who quoted me $609 out the door for TB and WP. Wondering if I can get them lower or just use mil discount...

I'm here at Anderson Honda now for the Timing Belt and WP. They still have the special for $489 plus $90 for the tensioner. Came in at 8am and they didn't bring the car in until about 9. We will see what time I leave, but either way its worth the deal and wait.

Bumping this:

Apple Acura in York, PA has a TB special going on until 7/8/16 for $499.99. Tensioner and water pump are extra, from what I can tell in the email.

YMMV

Try calling around and see whats available near you. If you can't find a deal, consider making the drive to either York or Baltimore. It may be worth the drive for you!

2 steps ahead of ya my friend. I'm going to nicely "talk" to my local dealer and see if they will match this. I already know the answer though haha. Then schedule a Friday off to go to MD if need be.

I just paid $1400 for a new starter/motor mount/and pair of compliance bushings. I'm feeling violated as it is from them.

I think someone repriced it at Anderson earlier this month and they changed their pricing structure where it does come out to $1000 as theyre now not including water pump and drivebelts. Tensioner was always extra.

Yeah, I saw they changed it. Maybe give them a call to confirm, if you need the work. Doesn't hurt to ask questions.
