No unfortunately I did not Steven. Wishful thinking and I always build cars I'm interested in just to see how much $$$ I have to set aside when the time is right.

New Mod Update

I've ordered a flat-bottomed steering wheel for the Stingray.

Thursday night (around 7pm), the door bells rings-it was UPS! I opened the box to find a steering wheel in the box! I had no idea it was coming-I didn't have a tracking number or anything.

But there was one problem........................it wasn't flat bottomed!

They are supposed to be rushing to make me a new one this week. Hopefully it will be shipped out by this Friday.

Jeremy, I'm hoping to have it maybe this week. But I'm not holding my breath. He told me that they are rushing to make me a new wheel. I've already talked to the dealership. I've asked about cost for installation-they said about $50!

So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it gets here quick and there's no snow in Kansas City so I can drive the Stingray to the dealership to have this done.

@ how Steven is running away from snow.
I guess that's a feeling I will never have. I am always in winter mode
$50 is good but don't unwrap the steering if you could, or tell them to use clean gloves while doing the install.

MEKO, I'm really not running away from the snow (with the Type S). I just don't want to get the Stingray out in it. These tires seem to be more like summer tires, so I know they won't be great in the white stuff.

I hope you're able to get it installed too! After having the Audi with the flat bottom wheel, I loved it.

He won't like Florida, it's full of all these older people with really nice cars. He wouldn't fit in.

Plus, he probably doesn't golf.

yeah Denver is literally COOL/COLD !!! haha....

then again Dallas was an option but we dont like the constant 100+ deg temp and the reaction of the peeps to a little snow...I like my snow, I like my warm....KS fitted the bill perfectly....so did STL

and cant argue with the option to have a basement....no such thing in TX

In Texas you'd get a full on doomsday shelter...much more solid than a basement!

LOL....guys, I worked the Mavericks hockey game last night, so I didn't get to see all this until now.

Now, some answers to your questions......

--Yes, I would move to Florida (and yes, I'd try to be close to Jeremy's house)
--No, I do not golf (thank God)
--Yes, I would miss Anil, Matt and all the other great friends I've made here in KC because of AcuraZine
--No, I'm not moving out of Kansas City until my parents pass. So I'm here for a while.
--Yes, Rhonda and I have talked about a warm weather place to move. I have realtor friends in mid-Central Florida who have already sent me housing information for a community about an hour away from Orlando.

--It would be nice to live somewhere that I can drive the Stingray 12 months out of the year........before I get too old.
